Nice cafe aimed at tourists. Not cheap but good vibes, especially at night. Food and drinks are nice, staff friendly.

Went because it was supposed to be the only place in town for a craft beer. 5 taps from a Hanoi brewery for a decent price. Made the mistake of ordering a rather expensive pizza, which turned out to be tasteless.

We had a Chookie hamburger and it was very good. Nice taste and big portion. The fries portion was a bit small. But also good taste. Expect only tourist when going here. Prices are high so not € but €€€ signs on TripAdvisor.

We’ve been to both the Tam Coc & Ninh Binh Chookie’s & both have such a cool laid back vibe. Although it’s not authentic Vietnam, we really enjoyed chilling out here with some great food that reminds us of home!

Went here each day I was in Ninh Binh for coffee, brunch and dessert. Not a huge selection of food, but definitely enough. Great vegan selection - I have the vegan apple crumble and tofu scramble and vegan coconut coffee. All really really delicious! Good...More

Cozy restaurant with western menu. Fire pit and gas heaters when it’s cold. Amazing food and fantastic atmosphere. Especially while waiting for night bus to Phong Nha. Don’t miss it!! Karate Chris

Very nice atmosphere in this hipster place. You won’t see any locals here. It’s a place for foreigners and the prices are for foreigners too. Quite pricey. The craft IPA beers were disappointing. The pizza was just okay. For some strange reason they think adding...More

Visited twice during a short stay in Tam Coc with my boyfriend and we had the coffee/cake combo both times. Both the carrot and chocolate cake were great! On our second visit we’d skipped lunch and wanted a snack before dinner so we ordered the...More

Sometimes when travelling, you need some western food. And chookies did not disappoint. We had a BBQ chicken pizza to share and it was great. Even woodfired which made it better. Lots of other options for pizzas and burgers also.

A wonderful oasis to chill and have a drink. Food is delicious and so are the desserts! Great if you want a break from typical Vietnamese places! Extremely child friendly too, they even have a small playground!
