a very Vietnamese restaurant, but none of the street stalls, rather kind of a deluxe fast food with exclusively crab dishes (rolls, soups). very Vietnamese also the dirty tables, but vivid to see locals eating out here.

My friends recommended this place for enjoy “Banh Da Cua” , before going to Hai Phong , I had read on the internet that “if you go to Hai Phong, don’t forget to try Banh Da Cua Ba Cu” Banh Da cua is good (45k/...1 bowl) , but Nem cua be is so so.More

Been to this restaurant after many compliments from friends but it was a little bit disappointed. The food was alright but the presentation was not appetizing. The price is reasonable. The restaurant look a bit old with lots of stuff and decorations! Anyway, it worth...a try as this is one of the signature dish of Hai Phong City.More

Look for the big crab outside, and you’ll find this awesome crab restaurant. This was recommended by our hotel, the Mercure HaiPhong, and it didn’t disappoint. The brown rice noodles are apparently a local delicacy and seafood is very popular around the area. This is...a must visit, although it doesn’t look like much from the outside, the crab noodle soup is amazing, and adds a new layer to what most westerners would think of as pho.More

I visited Ba Cu with my family because it is known as famous restaurant in Haiphong. However it was terrible experience. My father in law was birthday so I wanted to treat good dishes but the service and meal they offered was not clean and...adorable. Even though I saw bad comments of this restaurant before I visited, I tried my precious time with my family. The result? Terrible. Please dont go if you want to save your happy meal..More

A must try in my book. The crab noodle soup with crab spring rolls is far the best I have ever eaten.

We came when the restaurant's 2nd floor was renovating so the tables were all dusty. The serving was quick. The noodles was so so and the spring rolls stuffed with shrimp and crab, however both of them were lack of taste. The price was reasonable....We came in group of 4 and the total was over VND300,000. This restaurant is suitable for foreigners who want to try Vietnamese food, but not the place for those locals who seek for a good meal.More

This is one of the best specialty of the city, a must-try, I think. Many foreigner friends of mine love it a lot and even say it is the best soup in the world. They offer variety of noodles with sea crab and seafood (stir...fried or with soup) and sea crab spring rolls. The broth is kind of salty and sweet. I'm local and I can actually find better places for these food (which are mainly sidewalk restaurants). If you prefer noodle soup with sea crab, the restaurant in the small alley right next to this restaurant can offer you better experience. But if you want to try different dishes then Banh Da Cua Ba Cu would be more convenient.More
