Enjoyable meal sitting under the trees with friendly service. I had some very tasty ravioles with bolognese. I don't know if they make or buy their pasta but it was very good and I could taste each of the ingredients. My partner had a t-bone steak, which although not the best we ate in Uruguay was still pretty good and... More

Food was mediocre and it took forever... Over 50 minutes. At arrival they serve you sandwich bread and crackers. The place is very humble and The staff was friendly and the homemade pasta was alright. The seafood was a 4 out of 10. Wouldn't recommend or return.

One has to look carefully to find Picasso. It is not in the center of town, but rather hidden on a residential street. It took no time to feel at home. The atmosphere is welcoming with seating both indoors and outside. The fish was excellent and the chef truly cares about preparing a special meal for each customer. I plan... More

While traveling with Uruguayan friends they took me Café Picasso. Had the rice with assorted seafood including shrimp, muscles and calamari. It was in a fantastic sauce. All I can it was wonderful. If I had driven by the restaurant on my own, I would never had stopped. Well worth finding.

Homemade cuisine, mainly seafood, and some other basic meals like breaded veals, french fries, pasta, etc. Large serving dishes but not so cheap as they used to be before. If I were you I`d try it!

This is unlike any other dining experience you are likely to have. The owner of this wonderful restaurant, Carlos, has converted his house into this terrific little spot. Hence, the experience is pretty close to that of eating in someone's home. It gives a new meaning to homestyle cooking beyond that which I have ever experienced in a restaurant before.... More

I went for lunch with my family, everything was great, the paella, the grilled fish, the mussels, the sald, the french fries! and off course the panqueques de dulce de leche! The restaurant feels like home, the servers are very nice and the cook is right there! If you go to Piriapolis do not miss Picasso. Estuve en Picasso almorzando... More

Looking for a late night dinner, we were given a tip to drive to this house. It is a private house and they cook wonderful food, and were very welcoming. Thank you
