This restaurant always seemed to be full but the service was always fast and the food arriving promptly. The food is not fancy but tastes great and the prices are very reasonable. On a backpacker haven like Ko Tao, food often falls to the lowest common denominator but Ying Yang stands out for great food and great value.

Not one disappointing dish over the three weeks we stayed and frequented this cruisy restaurant. The staff are very welcoming and the service was great. The food is delicious, clean and fresh - not overly salty or oily. Wish I had photos but we were too busy enjoying our meals and the atmosphere!

Great Thai food, Nice and spicy if you ask for it. Can surely recommend Papaya salad, Panang curry and red curry. Nice atmosphere also!

Went to Yin Yang on numerous occasions on our trip to Koh Tao. Didn't have a bad meal. Loved the Penang curry, Pad See Ew, mango and sticky rice, black peppercorn chicken. Don't expect effusive service or fine dining as this isn't what it is about. Do expect lovely freshly made food and great flavours.

Yin Yang serves excellent Thai food and is definitely worth one or more visits when in Koh Tao! Every single dish we tried this and last year was wonderful. In the evenings, their restaurant is stuffed with people - this restaurant is practically a must-see (or must-taste) if you like Thai food!

Since our first visit eating here was so good, we went back again last night! The staff are friendly, very accommodating to dietary requirements (I am gluten and dairy free and provided my own gluten-free soy sauce for them to use). The second time we went back we found our dishes a little too spicy after asking for 'medium' spice,... More

Friendly staff, consistently good food - what more could you want? We ate here about 5 times in the four weeks we were staying in Chalok and were never disappointed.

We ate at this restaurant 3 nights in a row & every dish was delicious. From chicken wings & spring rolls to delicious massaman curry & deep fried fish - all was very good. The cocktails are good & strong and the banana fritters to die for

P'Ae takes pride in cooking her massaman the traditional way: long cooking time, big pot, big chunks of chicken... And it really translates to the taste of it. It is indeed my favorite thai restaurant and dish on Koh Tao (I have been living here for over 4 years) and I come several times a week. Choose spicy or not... More

Great good value food- we did find on Trip Advisor and the reviews were accurate. The queues built up in the evening at about 7.45 but it is worth it and the drinks shakes, cocktails are excellent too. Service does become rather slow when they are busy
