All round happy with our experience! The food was delicious, particularly my basil fried prawns. There is an amazing detox juice menu which I loved, and the staff were kind enough to make me the juice that I wanted that wasn’t on the menu. The restaurant is on the beach and offers both tables and lounge spaces, making it a great place to watch the sunset. For those who drink, happy hour is from 4-10pm (!), and the prices are very reasonable throughout the whole menu. We were also easily able to rent a motorbike from the place which was super helpful and make the experience even better. Thank you, we will be back!

Popular restaurant with free sun beds and umbrellas on the beach. Has a reasonably good vegetarian range of food and a happy hour that seems to last most of the evening! Perfect place to watch the sun set. I returned to eat in the evening and the owner knocked 20tbh of the bill because he remembered me, it all helps.

This lovely beach bar was a long walk from our accommodation, but it didn’t put it off as it is so good. We used to go there for the sunset and it attracted by the crowd on the varied seating on the beach.
The beer wasn’t the coldest, but they happily provided ice and you could take in the magnificent views of the islands and the sea.
They play varied but good music. We used to really enjoy our time there The staff are extremely friendly as well.

Waited for food over 1 hour and then I got Massaman curry with chicken instead of vegetarian. The staff are extremely confused and barely speak english. The restaurant feels very dirty, there were dishes piled up next to the shower.

This restaurant/bar on the beach has a lovely ambiance. Great location for watching the sunset. Terrible customer service. I asked our waiter about some of the food, and he said he did not know, too much going on in his head, and not to ask questions. We ordered drinks and food anyway. One hour later we got one of our cocktails, but the cocktail for myself did not show up until ordered again. No dinner food arrived, when asked why..... the order was overlooked..... after 1.5 hours we gave up and left. Nice to place to look at, but don't expect to be served any food.

Food is really good here. Sadly the service is chaos. Managers haven’t a clue, he stands at tables (uninvited) in a sarong, joint hanging from his mouth, and bores customers to death with his endless monotone tales of his life (All about me)! And she floats around taking videos of the fire shows. All whilst mayhem persists throughout! When you get your food, and if it’s what you ordered, your in for a pleasant surprise! The kitchen obviously are in the know of how the industry works! Just watch your bill, we were charged for items we did not order, then verbally abused by the waiter for challenging this at the pay desk! Much better experiences along the rest of the entertainment strip.

Yes service is erratic but that’s part of the charm to just remind them or I wander in to sort my drinks then tell them

Walked along klong nin from our location, music is great there places to sit at tables or on mats with cushions, always speak to the girl she knows what’s going on and keeps the boys in check 👍 our food was delicious and cocktails till the sun goes down we didn’t leave until late and the bar man took us home twice in his tuk tuk, really friendly place reminded me of the vibe in goa

We stopped there for the sunset and to eat with my 11 months old baby in e beach. The food was better than expected and the service too. I have to say, we were there by 5pm !!

We have just left the blue moon after being served by the rudest Thai person we have met on our travels,he was rude yesterday but we gave it another go and was just as rude today and tried to charge an extra 20 baht,this is being reviewed by a pretty easy going bloke

The bar is located on the beach and offer a scenic view to the sunset. The mojito is nice but the food is mostly deep fried. Nice place to relax and to have a cocktail

Khlong Nin Beach is a favourite spot on earth, and the lucky restaurants facing the beach have a golden opportunity to provide their guests with both a fantastic view as well as memorable Thai dishes. Blue Moon only leverage on the location. The food needs much improvement before they compete among the top. Service was chaotic, and the sequence of servings incomprehensible.

We were 3 nights in Koh Lanta, the first night we walked through the street and the first bar we really liked (from the appearence) was the blue moon bar. We checked out other bars, but none of them was so inviting like the blue moon bar. So we decided to drink something there. We met the friendly family who takes all her time to creat enjoyfull moments for the guests. The owner is currently building new things for decoration, which we really enjoyed. The drinks and food were both good, but the most important for us, was the feeling, sitting in a beautifull bar on the beach :)
