We have been out for drinks in Saladan but we couldn't find a bar that attracted us until we saw Black Pearl, hidden at the end of the road in Saladan. The staff welcomed us greatly friendly and guided us to a table in the back of the restaurant. While walking through the restaurant, passing kitchen and other rooms, we... More

We ate here at least three times. Food was every time very delicious and also affordable. We felt very welcome because staff was so friendly. Nothing to complain about.. :)

We had just a few minutes to eat before our ferry arrives. Coconut was excellent and food very good, arrived pretty quickly but there was not many people in restaurant at that time.

The hotel suggested this place and we went straight. Coming from the south of KoLanta we were very disappointed by the crowd in there. Very noisy. Food were of poor quality (fish not fresh) and even the french fries were disgusting (fried in a very old oil). Spring roll taste was horrible too. Worst experience in Thailand so far (we... More

We had a great dinner in a table near the sea. You have to try the tempura prawns and the sizzling plates! We didn't find expensive, mainly because we drank beer.

Went and had a very small fish. The waitress even said it was small when serving. Expected to pay 200thb but got a bill for 300thb. We questioned it with the waitress who said they round up and it was the correct price. Had a larger fish next door for the same price.

The downside of this otherwise cozy restaurant was the poorly coordinated and surly service. Our dishes were served about 15 minutes apart with an excuse about "many dishes in the kitchen". The food was good though.

Many dishes to choose from. A lot for kids. Good Thai food, but probably with a European twist. Relatively cheap.

I've been in Thailand a month and I love the Thai food but sometimes I enjoy get some western food for a change. When we came to the black pearl, I got the nachos and it has been one of the tastiest dishes I've had since I've been here! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone and their strawberry... More
