We are lounging right now after a great meal. If the meal and price isnt enough to make you excited about this place then the staff is. Had a nice conversation with one of the staff and was very generous is his tips for low season activities and places to go and see. They speak good English and are near... More

Arriving at 20:40 19/7/16 we were seated and given a menu. The menu is not huge, which Is a good thing. There were a few people eating as we entered. We ordered spring rolls (chicken) & 2 Thai chicken dishes, a special garlic sauce and a sweet n sour, 1steamed rice, a vodka and Sprite and 1large beer all for... More

We got to handpick the fish, they only serve "catch of the day" so fresh to the max! The staff was extremely helpfull and friendly and spoke above average english! We got some ice 'on the house' which is a small token but much appreciated. Recommed!

After spending several weeks travelling across Thailand, my girlfriend and I had a few quiet days at Ko Lanta. We noticed L. Maladee across the road from our hotel, and decided to give it a try. From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, we knew we were going to have a special night. The staff were incredibly welcoming, and... More

We love eating at L'Maladee it is a family restaurant with daily fresh fish and seafood. We've tried the big shrimps and they were amazing. Price is average 300-400baths for 2, way below what the resorts charge (and for a lower quality food).

After reading good reviews about this place we had dinner here and was impressed with the selection of fresh seafood. But once the fish was served, could not help but be shocked by the fact chunks of the fish were taken out. Essentially only half the fish meat was left. Why?!? The food was very good but just felt cheated... More

We were recommended by some locals to try the food at L. Maladies and we enjoyed the food and service here. The jumbo prawn was cooked to perfection. We returned a second time during our short trip at Koh Lanta because of the prawns. Two thumbs up!
