Nice view and good service, but food is decent, not spectacular. Visited in low season as guest of the hotel. Hotel is great with very attentive and welcoming staff. Had pizza and pad krapaow gai for lunch, with a bottle of red wine. Prices are above average but expected for such a hotel.

Wow! we love the Layana Resort so much!! And Tides restaurant is amazing!! The food is great and consistently fresh/tasty. It may be a little more pricy than going outside of the hotel but you get what you pay for. The view of Long Beach is absolutely amazing and romantic. My husband and I pretty much ate all of our... One of the best restaurants we visited in Thailand. Impeccable service, extensive food and drinks menu, beautiful sea view. Located in the Layana resort and spa. Highly recommend.

Staying at the Layana it made sense to eat here on occasion. Reading reviews before traveling I had mixed thoughts so an open mind. Let's start with the service, simply put impeccable. Now that's done the food, amazing. This reviewing lark is simple when you visit a place like this . I noticed some reviews complaint of price, REALLY !... More

This chic restaurant is the place you want to take your girl out for dinner. The beachfront patio is enchanting and definitely a romantic spot. Expect to pay a little more than normal, but the food is delicious. I have had a ton of fried rice in Thailand, but the roasted duck accompanied by the signature fried rice of Layana... More

Definitely one of the best breakfasts we've had in Ko Lanta and in entire Thailand, the benedict Egg was a delightful and very recommended. The staff is one if the nicest people i've seen in our trip here. Go Visit!

Tides a can appear a little intimidating if you drop in for lunch by the beach entrance. Security guards stop you before you even set foot on their attractive polished floorboards. It’s that kind of place - the premier resort on Long Beach. Casual drop-ins should be dressed well: neat casual: no thongs, bathers or T-shirts. You get the picture?... More

Excellent staff and visiting chefs make this restaurant every bit as special as the resort in which it resides.
