I have visited 'The Red Snapper' on two separate occasions recently. Firstly as a group of five and secondly for a special occasion as a couple. It was truly delicious and both occasions, for a main course, I had the steak. It was cooked exactly as I asked for, both times the and the flavours in the sauces were truly... More

Wow, this place is one of our favourite places for dinner. A bit more pricey but we'll worth it especially if you fancy something different from Thai food. It is advisable to book a table and best place to sit is close to the bar as it's a bit cooler. The restaurant offers a beautiful garden setting... Quite romantic at... More

Just of the main road and almost in a forest glade. This is the best place for Tapas and most people just ordered lots of the starters and shared them around. For us it's still very cheap and although more expensive than most in the area, it's well worth it, we had some of our best meals in Koh Lanta... More

House red wine tasted old (bottle must have been opened days ago). And some people arrived after us and got their meal before. But besides that, the food is REALLY good. No thai food. Worth it. Would come back.

The food here is unbelievable - it's by far the best restaurant on the island. Really romanic, great service, and huge range of amazing quality dishes. It feels expensive but we typically got 1 'main' and two 'tapas' between us - costing 600baht aka $20. Fantastic! (booking recommended)

Ok food. Nothing to rave about and quite disgusting to have a cat crawling around on the tables, bar and be seen in the kitchen.

We have enjoyed our tapas night at red snapper, and we may say that they were the best tapas we ever had. This is a whole different level of cooking. Service was good, did not wait long for our dishes even though it was busy. It's not the cheapest, but it was well worth paying for. We recommend this, and... More

I was recommended this place but I failed to be impressed, I found the dishes to be decidedly average and expensive for what you got. I have had tapas in many places and this did not compare favourably. Most things seemed like they had been heated in a microwave. Personal advice would be to go elsewhere

Loved the food the rustic scenic look great location. Awesome deal for what you get. 480 baht for an imported rib eye steak that is big. You are not hungry when you leave. The custom handwritten menus everyday are cool.
