It's one of the very hyped restaurant in Goa. Food is okie but very expensive. The service is poor to bad. We ordered 2 dishes which had buns along with it. One set of bun was served when both the dishes were tabled. We were...almost done eating the dishes but buns were nowhere in sight. They took eternity to serve the 2nd set. They never bother to give mouth fresher/ saunf etc and not even tooth pricks with non vegetarian dishes. On the top of it , the owner is the rudest person I have ever seen. I will never visit this place again.More

Since my daughter and I were staying in the WelcomHeritage Panjim Pousada, it made sense to eat as often as possible at the Verandah Restaurant. From our very first meal after a super tiring journey, the friendliness of the staff, the excellence of the food,...the generous portions, and the old-world ambience, made us return for more. Being Goan and acknowledged to cook well by family and friends, I really feel qualified to give this place a five star rating with complete confidence! The fact that it was always busy with hungry people clearly enjoying themselves, should say it all!More

We has lunch at this place during our day trip to Fontainhas. The restautant is in a old heritage building with antique furniture and wall paintings. We liked the ambience and the seating which -true to the name of the restaurant is in the verandah...of the heritage property. We tried chickem steak and Pasta and deserts. The food was cooked well and tasted nice. We felt the prices were on the higher side but considering that this is in a heritage property we felt that was okay. The manager is very polite and he apologized for the delay in serving lunch since they were short of staff that day. The overall ambience is very good as you can see the narrow lanes and the old heritage houses of the area while having your meal and drink. If budget is not a constraint I would definitely recommend this place.More

Perhaps if we hadn’t gone to a superb restaurant the night before, we would not have found the Verandah so poor and expensive. I won’t bore you with the details, but there are much better places much closer. Don’t wasted your time!

Went there for a vegetarian lunch. You get very few options for authentic food in goa but this hotel was great. The person gave us feni complimentary because they give complimentary drinks or anything on sundays. For veg they suggested us veg caldin with goan bread.Along with that...they served us dal makhni and rice.I must say i have never tasted such delicious dal makni all my life. Even the caldin with bread was damn authentic and yummy. We will defiantly visit again.More

Its a very quiet place in a very classy neighbourhood! It compliments well your Fontainhas walking tour. The food is delicious yet the atmosphere takes all the credit. Must try the desserts and the cocktails.

My Wife and I loved our stay at the Heritage Hotel Panjim, The verandah Restaurant, although part of the hotel I think operates independantly. Our meal here was overpriced, the portions extremely small and not very tasty to say the least. I had Peri Peri...Calamari that tasted like Spag, Bol, my Wife had Goan Prawn with rice also tasteless.More

Loved this place especially as is the only outdoor restaurant I could find in Panjim. Good food in the old part of Panjim and wonderful staff. Was lovely to sit outside enjoy the breeze and views of the historical buildings.

Delightful surroundings, very helpful and attentive staff, the food was excellent and freshly made (A short wait-15 minutes which was made clear beforehand). Definitely a good address in Panjim! If we come back to How we will come here again.

The photograph doesn’t do the Panjim Inn justice: this beautifully restored gem is visually stunning and the perfect quiet retreat for just a tea/coffee break or traditional Portuguese meal. You may sit and relax as long as wish without any pressure to move on, Just...remember to ask for a jug of boiling water to keep topping up that tea...and take a good book.More
