A real place to taste the authentic goan food. Its like a little side-street eatery inside an old Portuguese house. Prices are reasonable.

When Mrs. Linda De Souza moved from a suburb in erstwhile Bombay she did so with a love for cooking in her heart and a passion for sticking to the originality. Visit Viva Panjim, if you can find it, as it is located in a small bye lane of the Latin quarters of this wonderful city of Panjim. Enter this... More

The ambiance is awesome. Old Portuguese mansion. Some of the artifacts strewn around were veritable antiques. The food was traditional Goan / Portuguese. We tried the hearty and home made chicken soup. This is where you realise why we "eat soup" The Xacuti and pork sorpotel were nice. The bibinca and caramel custard were to die for. Pocket friendly place... More

Experience local! This is Viva Panjim for you. Authentic Goan food that carries all the flavors and aromas. The strong Portuguese influence on the cuisine in Goa can be witnessed here. The Prawns stuffed papad is my favorite and is a truly divine appetizer. Fish is always fresh, masalas are home made. For the strong meat eaters, have the original... More

If you want to eat authentic Goan food, this is the place! Absolutely delicious food. Not so heavy on the pocket either. You need to take the the little lane in, on Jan 31 road, to find this restaurant. It is tucked away a bit.

I wanted to give one star for the food, but giving 3 stars because of the ambience and music. Also, the other tables seemed to be enjoying the non veg dishes. So guess it's only the vegetarian Goan dishes that were not up to the mark.

Food is good, service is good although not much English is spoken so can be a little tricky to order. Food is great prices but small portions! Would recommend going to try Goan cuisine!
