The food itself was not bad, but the overall experience was. Stray dogs were roaming in and out of the kitchen. The owner had cats of her own and they were on the ordering counter when we arrived. One of them jumped up on the...chair next to me while we were eating. While our food was being prepared, two of the cats got into a big fight and the owner was joking about the tufts of hair that she was finding on the floor after the fight. This place was great. The prices were surprisingly low and the food options were varied and delicious. We left feeling very satisfied.

We heard that this was the place to go for chicken - so we went for chicken. It was fresh, juicy and delicious. We could not resist ordering plantain nachos to share before sharing 1/2 a chicken with garlic yuca and beet salad (all delicious)....But we could barely finish it between 2 adults. The second time we went, we ordered the nachos with 1/4 chicken - plenty of food for 2. We also discovered their authentic and peppery Caribbean Ginger Beer which will challenge your taste buds (in such a good way) if you are used to North American grocery store ginger beer. Best to get there by 6 to guarantee that they have not run out of their signature dish - roast chicken.More

The food was delicious,although not “island” food. We had the curry chicken and the fish strips. Both were large servings There was an excellent choice of “sides” included with the meal - we had the beet salad, the yellow rice, fried plantains. All were excellent....There were several cats and a dog hanging out in the patio dining area, they did not bother patrons, although sat quietly watching for any dropped food. The service was excellent - very friendly and attentive. Meals came quickly. Prices were very reasonable $usd 14-16.More

The title says it all. I'm 68 and have eaten a lot of chicken over the years. This place has simply the best. Get there by 3 or risk the chicken being sold out.

Great value and great taste. Home baked pies…YUM. Even coconut cream! Don’t miss this place . I loved their pasta salad as well. We ordered this frequently for take out. Good to feed a family. Would love them to offer green fresh salads as well.

The chicken was juicy and very flavorful. The sides were fresh and tasty. The service was excellent. It is a very good value even though the chicken was not very big compared to US rotisserie chicken or at the local grocery store.

Considering it’s not easy to find reasonably priced meals in Roatan, this restaurant is great! Delicious simple food (we had the chicken, of course), fair prices and a lovely owner. Heard that the desserts are great but we didn’t try any!

We love this restaurant everything is outrageous delicious the chicken and sides are made fresh daily. The chef has a real flair with fresh herbs and don't forget the fantastic deserts. Get there early she sells put very often.

Ordered dessert to go but the only person working the front was way too busy and was having a difficult time sorting out what she had to do. I think she forgot i ordered anything. I will go back and try their food but this...was just one experience.More

Really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and delicious food. Reasonable prices and friendly service. We were too full for dessert but other diners were oohing over the coconut pie.
