Large portions, good price and decent food. Service was reasonably quick and trouble free for a couple of gringos.

I went to this restaurant with three other people and they love it. Charming. The waitresses are very nice. But afterwards I was deathly ill for days. Everyone else was fine. One friend told me I should not order cold dishes as they could be...More

Although the restaurant seems to be a bit touristic, the typical food and drinks are really delicious. The service is friendly and the prices are reasonable.

Every dish we tried was carefully prepared, especially the “trucha al vapor” (trout), cooked with lots of tasty ingredients, all natural and well balanced. The juices were also pretty flavorful, particularly the “jugo de...More

We stopped for lunch. The BBQ pork was tender and tasty. The trout with shrimp sauce was very fresh . Service was great. Live music was playing on Saturday. It was thoroughly enjoyable.

Try the amora mousse, it's delicious! Quaint setting, both locals and tourists. They close at 9 so get there in plenty of time.

Otavalo is filled with large restaurants with out many patrons. I ventured in, was the only person there (early in the evening) and enjoyed a delicious grilled trout meal.

Mi Otavalito was my favorite meal in Ecuador. Amidst the hustle and bustle of Plaza de Ponchos, Mi Otavalito is a pleasant respite. My pepper steak was absolutely excellent, easily the best I had of 4-5 well-reviewed restaurants in Ecuador. I strongly recommend Mi Otavalito!
