One of the oldest restaurants in Samobor with good food. Recommendation is always mushroom soup, but everything else is also very good. The prices are a little bit higher than average. Big private parking infront and a near by walking pass by river.

Excellent mushroom soup. Main course was stuffed pig tenderloin which was a bit dry, but ok nevertheless. Wouldnreccomend as a place to visit when in Samobor and with family.

Visited this restaurant with my wife for lunch. First impresion in the menu is that it is expensive. We would have liked to try to forest mushrom soup, bout 6eur for a bowl of soup is to much in continental Croatia in my opinion. The...quality of the meat was ok, again all side dishes were extra charged. Salat was a litle stail and did not follow the quality of the main dish. Bread basket was terribly dry and not edible. Would not return.More

Portions are xxl size, traditional very tasty meals, you have a feeling like you had lunch at your grannys kitchen - perfect warm atmosphere. Although it s was very crowded for the weekend - the staff was very fast, friendly and very professional. Especially good...for small children and familly visits. Very big parking space! We loved itMore

We reserved a table for two to be sure to get a good place but when we arrived (at the stated time) we were not welcomed very well. The waiter laid the table in a hasty and annoyed manner. As the meal went on, they...fortunately changed attitude; the girl serving us became nice and considerate and the waiter said a nice goodbye when we left. We had wild boar with gnocchi and cranberry jam sprinkled with paprika oil. It was really well-cooked and delicious: the meat was soft and the taste superlative.More

The food is tasty, though the portions are much too big, and therefore too expensive. The place is huge, and the light is too bright so the atmosphere is rather bad.

When you order baked veal, in any other restaurant veal is baked together with potatos, which is normally. But in this restaurant when you order baked veal ( 89 kuna ) they served with baked potatos, which is extra charged 22 kuna. Waitress didn't mention...that garnishing is extra charge. That's the only reason for bad review ! Otherwise the food was very delicious and tasty!!!More

Samobor is a beautiful town near Zagreb that I wouldn't necessarily call "touristic". And this is definitely one of the places to enjoy well prepared, authentic food from the region, with the locals. I liked everything, the dishes, the wine, the atmosphere. If you're visiting...Samobor, don't miss it!More

Typical old restaurant in Samobor, ambient from previous times so typical for this type of eating places. Food is delicious, tastefull and fresh. Everything looks home-made and portions are huge. Also kids friendly place. But this is very popular among locals, so reserve in advance!
