I came hete twice, the waiter recognized me and welcomed me. Nice location and they have a good selection of gin-tonics, which is rare in Rovinj. Popular among locals.

My partner and I spent a few hours in Rovinj and called into Caffe bar Bruno for a quick, reasonably priced drink. We found the barman very friendly and helpful. It seemed that the bar is popular with locals, however they also had multiple screens for sports and a stage for live music. If in Rovinj again I would visit here as I suspect this bar offers alot more than a quick drink for day tourists.

If you are looking for good prices and decent food this is truly the best place. Some places were charging more for a few drinks which was a shame but here was good. Also they offer a huge sports screen.

International group of friends met for drinks and unfortunately experienced unnecessarily slow, rude service by bearded male waiter working yesterday evening. Upon kindly asking for WiFi we got an annoyed snicker, however no answer to our question. Every order seemed like a hassle to him and after paying he sent us off with a “friendly” ‘just make sure you don’t come back’!
We really had no idea what his issue was, but no matter the hard night you might have had, one individual’s bad attitude and service reflects on the establishment and the destination on a whole.
In the end, lovely location, but beware of some staff.

We visited this restaurant September 12 and had a pleasant lunch, costing around 170 Kuna. Upon presentation of the bill the waiter, surprisingly, informed us the total did not include a tip! As I did not have the correct money I gave 200 Kuna in notes, expecting to receive the change & would have left a generous tip. However, the waiter then proceeded to lean against a wall, lit a cigarette and made no move to return our change. Being a tourist in my 70's, not speaking the language & not wishing to get into a confrontational situation we eventually walked away feeling cheated and under the impression that elderly tourists were fleeced in Rovinj if & when possible! I am pleased to say other restaurants & our hotel gave a more than satisfactory service & I take great pleasure in writing this review to bring to attention this ugly practice!

We were looking for a cafe away from the crowded areas and found this one. It is set in an interesting square. We just had a coffee but they do eats as well. The staff were friendly and helpful. Locals use this cafe so it must be good. Wi-Fi is free.

This was a lucky find for us on our visit to Rovinj. It is a very friendly little bar with outdoor seating. The inside area is popular with locals and more of a sports bar. The location just on the edge of both the port and the old town is ideal. Great value drinks and excellent service. Would be our favourite place to go if we stopped in Rovinj.

The perfect stop when walking around the old town.

Lovely little Bar, we sat outside in the sunshine to enjoy a cold beer (60 Kuna for 4)after walking round the Old Town, Staff very friendly and a clean ladies loo!

The most reasonable priced large beer in the old town we found. Bang central, just a couple of tables outside. Helpful staff, full of locals in the midst of this tourist town.

Bruno is in a small triangle square at the foot of the cobblestoned walkway up the old town hill and just off the main pedestrian shopping street. It is one of the few places open late at night and we wandered by and perched for a drink. And returned. The people are very friendly (mostly locals); relaxed; welcoming yet leave you alone; and nice. There's some music and just a hang out late night vibe with inexpensive drinks (even for Rovinj) and good people watching.

We were staying nearby and adopted this cafe/bar on the first day of our trip. For one thing, the staff is friendly and efficient. The prices are lower than a lot of other places in the neighborhood and there's good people watching in the square. Really can't be beat for a cup of coffee or a glass of wine.
