One of the best local restaurant. found this gem by surprise but all dishes are super good. The location and the sunset view is a plus.

Nice litle place with excellent food, very nice service, acceptable prices. We will be back each time we visit Rovinj! Highly recommended!
The view, the food, the service! Everything was wonderful!!!! We ate fish and shrimp in garlic oil. It was tasty, maybe a little too greasy.
Good, well-made food with friendly staff. House white wine for 6 euro is a steal. The fish in olive crust was delicious.
And still excellent. Super service, lovely Table in the corner of the Annexe on the top floor. Both had the Pasta with Shrimps to kick off. A grand glass of Red Wine served in a truly beautiful glass. We water glasses were also delightful. Sadly...not local, designed in Italy and made in Japan - according to our Waitress. Tiramisu and Chocolate Mouse for desserts, both excellent. And a magnificent, Julius Meinl, Macciato to finish. We will be back. Hayling SeagoonMore
This, for us, was somewhere rather lovely and will not be forgotten in a hurry Although our apartment host had given us a list of his favourite spots, we'd not normally have opted for a Michelin listed restaurant. But but Puntalinas menu was perfect for us...- tasty but not pretentious We were given table half way down the terraces just as the sun was setting - so beautiful and very special. The lady who served us was very friendly, polite and helpful As for the food - the shrimps (King Prawns!) in olive oil and garlic, fish soup, Steak, Lamb chops with port sauce, pana cotta and cheesecake - all cooked and flavoured to perfection I'd definitely recommend for the location, the atmosphere, service and food (booking by email only) - tbh we didn't pay much more that we'd been paying all week at other fairly standard eateries and they left Puntalina standing by comparisonMore
We reserved a table outside on the patio and enjoyed a wonderful meal, views, and service. We trusted our waiter with our wine pairings, which were excellent. Highly recommend a visit.
The patio tables had a 1 hr. wait so we tried upstairs and had a wonderful table virtually outdoors with great views and terrific personal service. Outstanding homemade pasta with Istrian ox (after 10 days of seafood) was a great change of pace while my...partner had a terrific seabass with herbs. Service, wine, appetizers and a split Caprese salad made for an outstanding meal.More
Restaurant was very busy on arrival, and very thankful that we had thought ahead and made a reservation. The table we had looked like the best in the house being perched on the rocks close to the waters edge. Ogee , our waiter certainly went...the extra mile for us in making recommendations on wine and dish selection and what was served to us was excellent. My dish was beef cooked rare, which was wonderfully tender. The wine was a great selection too. My sons fish was well cooked and presented. The setting is wonderful , with terraces to the waters edge, and the place has a great buzz about it. My only disappointment was that I had not thought to try and book around sunset. FantasticMore
Our tour leader reserved a table for a party of 6. We had an exquisite ocean view just as the sun was setting. The food, service, and ambiance were exceptional. It was the highlight of our trip to Croatia! Reservations are a must.
We made a reservation for Puntulina two months before our trip. The person who took our reservation said we were all set. When we arrived at the restaurant on September 27, 2023 there was a sign on the door saying it was closed! We were...very disappointed! It was our wedding anniversary!More
Outdoor seating and view was great. The sea bass was ok. Cooked perfectly but nothing special. The steak appeared to be an inferior cut of meat and had a mealie texture. Good flavor. The lamb chop could have been mutton? The shrimp in oil and...garlic was fantastic, as was the cheesecake.More
We celebrated my husbands birthday here and were lucky enough to get a table right above the rocks. The service was excellent and super friendly. The food was also delicious! This is a really romantic spot with sensational views. We had a 6pm booking in...early September which means that we saw a spectacular sunset around 7:30. Not only that but a pod of dolphins jumping about below too! Thanks so much for a truly memorable evening! My husband has a lot to live up to now for my birthday ;-)More
We saw this beautifully located restaurant: seaside, tables settled between the costal rocks, and thought that this Michelin recommended place, would be a nice highlight of our holidays and perfect birthday dinner for me. The disappointment came quick and already with amuse-bouche. We got two...pieces of rather stale bread with fish paste. Nothing wrong with it, but far from Michelin recommendation level. We ordered a bottle of red local wine, 2 starters and 2 main dishes. Starters were rather tasteless (especially shrimps which should be spicy and with garlic taste). Main dishes: lamb - each piece cooked to different level(from really rare to very well done), and beef steak - with truffle sprinkles, instead of shavings, were served with frozen peas and burned/dry potatoes. The potatoes were so dry that they couldn’t be cut with the steak knife… when pointed it out to the waitress, she said it is a known problem on that day…. If it was known before, why the potatoes were served… Salat (side dish) came with no dressing in some sort of IKEA bowl and corn from a can, like it was a pre-prepared supermarket salad. Waitress brought us an oil and vinegar bottle. All that is not standing up to the Michelin recommended restaurants. We visited two other Michelin recommended restaurants (Dubrovnik , Trogir) in the last 10 days and they were good quality, service and the setup was outstanding and close to a star restaurant. The difference was enormous. The whole feeling was that the food did not exceed the taste of a regular food cafe. The restaurant staff accepted our feedback politely and offered us a free coffee/desert. We skipped the desert based on the experience . In general, sad and disappointing experience, not up to a standard of a Michelin recommended establishment.More
Starting our vacation in Croatia we had booked a dinner there because of the apparently beautiful view from the terrace of the restaurant, and we were absolutely not disappointed. Our table was just close to the sea (could not be more). Our waitress was very...friendly and professional. And above all, excellent food ; high quality ( ah the pasta or beef with truffles!). Sure, not very cheap , but it is worth it. One of our best memories of our croatian holidays. We highly recommend !More
