We’ve been here last year and were overall pleased with the service as well as the kitchen. Sadly they must have changed their chef because our visit this year could’t hold up with our last one. The food was good but definitely not special. I’ve ordered a beefsteak without truffle sauce. After waiting for 30-40 minutes it came with sauce, which for this pricing, really bothered me. I chose not to say anything and still ate it. The side dishes were very small. During both visits our order was taken by the owner which probably doesn’t really speak german or italian too well, because something went wrong both times.

Dear Claudine, we are sorry to hear of your experience, the sauce was an honest mistake, but in any case we would have been happy to replace it with the dish ordered in the first plaxe. As for the timing, I'm sorry but we are not a "quick bite" type of restaurant. The owner speaks both languages well so we're sure that wasn't an issue, or he wasn't the one taking the order. We regret that this was not your impression and offer our apologies.

Delightful environment, food less so

My girlfriend and I visited Divinio tonight. Even though they did not have it on the menu, we asked for Tuna steak. The waitress checked with the kitchen and confirmed they had it. We explicitly asked for the tuna steak, and not fillet as mentioned on the menu - simple sear on the outside and juicy. We had a few cocktails, cozy environment, great starters and friendly staff. The waitress really did a good job, helpful and smiling. The price was in the high end for the area, but the restaurant was fine dining concept, which is then to be expected. After the starters, the main course was served. However, to our dissapointment we received a well done "Tuna Steak". We had it brought back and they did come with a fine replacement. Seared. Not juicy however, and the cut was quite thick (~10 cm) and did not look, feel or taste like a Tuna Steak cut. Tasteless and boring. I had the monkfish, which was okay, but suppar to the price of the dish. Too spiced to really taste the fish or mussels. Sidedish was steamed vegetables, which consisted of carrot, cucumber and another root, oversteamed and tasteless. Basically everything was fine, expect the main course, as we felt that the quality did not close to match the price of it. We have tried several restaurants around the place. Pretty restaurant, nice service, cozy, everything 5 star, but the lack of quality dragged it down, and was a bit of a mood killer.

High class restaurant with excellent food. We came for a rather early dinner and got a table for 5 (plus dogs) without making a reservation. Over time, the place got quite busy, making a reservation for the main dinner time is recommendable. We had a very attentive waiter who was in good mood and very knowledgeable on the menu (and allergens). He was swift and attentive but didn’t rush and led our group through a delightful dinner. The dishes are made to order and portion sizes are fair. Given the high quality of ingredients the (rather high) prices are justified. The menu offers classical Mediterranean dishes, including warm and cold starters, soups, fish, meat sides and desserts. The range is broad with few choices for every course, which to me is a sign that quality comes first. And it definitely does. The mussels were rich in taste and of perfect texture. The fish plate was a small selection of fish, seashell and sea fruit which was grilled to the point. The salad (side) was a generous portion. Olive oil and balsamic vinegar are offered on the table to do one’s own dressing for the salad and both had superb quality and taste. Both, the red and the white wine were tasteful and served at ideal temperature. The waiter never left our glasses empty. Precautions were taken to meet my dietary requirements, and although I ordered dishes that wouldn’t need any adjustments the waiter reassured me that the chef would handle our food careful nonetheless. We enjoyed an elegant dinner and although prices are within a higher range they’re worth every penny.

Great Ambience

We had a lovely dinner and enjoyed the view. Scollaps and the sea bass were a really good choice + the croatian wine "Radovan" is also worth mentioning. We usually eat seafood wherever we can and we agreed that this is one of our favourite 3 places - we will definitely come back!

We would have had an enjoyable lunch here but for the fact we fell for a tourist scam. I pointed to the menu and asked about several fish dishes that were about 22-24 euros. My finger was next to those dishes. The waiter said he would tell me about the fish and brought me a tray with three kinds of fish and told me how they each were prepared. I selected one. At no time did he mention I had selected a more expensive dish. It was fine but a tad overcooked. When we got the check, the waiter set it down and vanished. I discovered I was charged 65 euros for one of their “speciality” fish at a 100 euros a kilo. (The portion I received was not particularly large). If you want to experience the Istrian “con the tourist” mentality, eat here. If not, there are many other places to eat in Porec.

Quality food with fascinating wine offer in amazing sea shore location

Had a late lunch during the #CMB23 wine competition. The staff is professional and friendly. Food tasty, - especially the seasonal wild aspargus - wine selection is wide and covers well local and international offer. Recommended this also for some other wine pros and they were all happy for visit. Would be a mistake not to visit while at Porec.

A perfect evening for us

Just returned from a fantastic evening in Porec. The restaurant Divino more than impressed us. Very attentive service, starters and main courses perfect and the dessert variation the highlight. Prices absolutely fair for the quality delivered. With champagne, wine, beer and dessert wine a rounded menu. When we get back to Porec, this will be our first night at the restaurant. Thank you very much for the wonderful evening at the harbour with great sunset.

Tasty food a bit pricy but the waiter was so kind and helpful. They have awesome wines and you should try seafood it’s delicious. You sit in center od Porec looking at the sea. Beautiful experience. Take there someone special. You won’t regret it.

Well, location is good, vibrant place. Service - polite but awfully slow Food - normal, overpriced. An hour and a half for calamari grill. Waste of time and loud music from the neighboring bar, no relax atmosphere , too loud.

We would never be treated so unkindly. We ate very well with friends and paid. Shortly afterwards more friends came and we wanted to have a drink. They don't have fresh calamari and shrimps and when you eat it,you can feel that they are cheap,freezed sea food.They serve you a tiny amount of food and you don'g feel full afterwards.The serving is ok,but you have to wait a lot for the food.The view is really pretty but that's it.OVERPRICED.For 3 persons we paid 70€.Too much.I don't recomend it.

Our resataurant's specialty is the fresh Adriatic fish and seafood from local fishermans, we don't prepare frozen fish products.
