We have been coming to Kazeta for about 10 years now. Every time we arrive in Porec, we drop our things at the house and head to Kazeta for lunch. The food is homemade hearty fare and always delicious. The setting is roadside but that has never bothered us as the welcome is always so warm and friendly. The prices... More

My sister took me there some time ago, we just had time for a quick lunch. She had the "normal" istrian manestra and I had the fennel kind. Both were delicious, very soul-foody. The ambiance was lovely, even though the main road is just a few metres away from the terrace, there's lots of greenery shielding it from road noise.... More

It is small place, but with great cook. I was on bussines trip, and our friend take us for lunch in Kazeta. We tried some domestic meals, cooked and fried, pasta, sosages, meat...everything was so good. If you are in Porec, you should go ther...and order Istarska jota.

Few days ago I drew with a friend to Istria and we enjoyed fantastic experience at this konoba, recommended to me by a friend from Pula. For a starter we had typical platter of Istrian prosciutto and cheese, all accompanied with a very good local red wine. For the main course we had venison (deer meat) with gnocchi and some... More

When you arriving or leaving Poreč your first or last meal should be in Kažeta since they have regularly good food. Not to many inovation though. But the Istrian pasta (pljukanci) with prsutto and rocket salad are great!!!

I have been in Kažeta several timesmostly because the atmosphere ispleasan, so as the staf, and because of Istarska maneštra od bobići or Istrian soup with corn, beans and lots of dill, and because of Pljukanci (istrian pasta) with prosciutto. Eating those dishes I always now that I cannot be wrong. However, I would be glad if they try to... More

Adequate but not up to the standards that we expect in Istria. The truffle pasta was more oily than truffly. Veal medallions were chewy. But the excellent walnut-chocolate palacsinka went a long way to redeem the overall meal experience.

Charming ambience with open fireplace, friendly and helpful staff, perfect food (I can recommend istrian minestrone, steak with trufles and chocolate cake which are all to die for) and very reasonable prices. One of the best meals ever.
