✅ Ambient ❌ Food - very poor choice of dishes, there are 10-15 dishes; portions were tiny, not even children were full

At first, Galija is situated on a beautiful spot. floating on the Drava river with a view all along the river. The staff is friendly and helpful and the fish is great. A bit more choice for vegetarians would be welcome, but otherwise great offer....Don't miss it when you are in Osijek, if only for a coffee.More

It is very difficult to rate this restaurant. There are several specialties to try. For the appetizer I ordered the Freshwater Fish Marinade. It was great. After that I turned to the main course - meat. Pork chops with vegetables. And finally poured with Vino...Belje - Graševina. The weather was beautiful, and with this kind of food one must enjoy. I'll be back againMore

A local recommended us this place. This restaurant is placed directly on the river Drava on an old ship. The ambient is ok. The staff is very unpolite and unprofessional, uniterested for anything. Got our food very quickly (not so many people). Ordered some pork...with wegetables. The meat was actually black, dry and not eatable. The musgroom sauce was horrible. Prices are to high for food of such poor quality. Would not reccoment to anybody.More

Usually, I am the one that chooses the restaurants we go in but this time I was on a group trip and couldn't do that. We stopped in Osijek for lunch on our way back from 3 day trip to Serbia, we were a group...of about 40 people. The waiter was nice and when I showed him a celiac restaurant card he reassured that they can prepare me a gluten-free meal. But I was still a bit skeptical and when I got the soup I waited to others to get their soup too. My soup was plain with no pasta in it but that didn't bother me. Next, they brought me some baked meat with steamed vegetable and fruit salad for dessert. It was great that they did try to make me some gluten-free food. I don't have any big reaction to gluten so I hope that the food I eat was OK.More

Directly on river Drava where this boat-reastaurant is settled you expect fresh wather fish on the menu, but no... We took fish platter with great expectations, and at the end have big disappoitment. Insted catfish, main reason we ordered that dish from card, we get...panghassius, worst and cheapest fish import frozen from Vietnam. Waither just shrug without comment when I protested. Carp was dry and overcooked, orange as a decoration in the center of platter was like a slap to my face. Orange, seriously, in Slavonia? This was decent place few years ago, what happen?More

For a long time I have not been so disappointed and angry that nobody has warned me that in the restaurant on the River Drava, homemade specialties are made from the disgusting Panganius! As a citizen of Osijek I can only say SHAME ON YOU!!

This is a good restaurant, but maybe inconsistent quality. Prices are ok and ambient is good for family lunches.

Good choice of local specialties (freshwater fish: fried, grilled, stew)… and much more. Nevertheless, the choice of deserts is far from what they could consider proposing if they wanted to stick with the tradition.
