Abandoned (kind of creepy) village in a beautiful valley up in the cliffs outside of Milna, Hvar. The restaurant is beautiful, very quaint and peaceful, with a stunning view of the limestone cliffs. Service was so nice with very impressive and extremely delicious dry Mali Plavic homemade wine. Our meal was lamb, veal, and beef steak cooked over a Croatian... More

We ate here as part of our Amazing Day tour via amazing Hvar. Wow!! What a place. Fantastic view and a fantastic meal. Berti welcomed us to his restaurant and proceeded to serve us cheese and meat plate and anchovies with homemade bread. This was followed by veal, lamb and vegetables that were cooked in the traditional method of under... More

Okay okay... Maybe a 7 just to manage your expectations. Be sure to give yourself plenty of time to scramble around the old paths/buildings before sitting down. Evening light for photos was fantastic. The cliffs and views combined w the food and special setting made a very special evening You can call ahead to reserve a table and make special... More

Walking distance from our hotel (Neptun), it was recommended to us by the lobby. And what a recommendation. We had this sea food platter with an excellent variety of superb fish, shrimp and mussels. Ambiance is very nice, in the middle of a sort of a park. Service is informal, you van go on your flip flops. Price ok.

Visited Hvar last week with hubby & took a half day island tour with "Secret Hvar". Included was a visit to Malo Grablje (an abandoned village). Abandoned many years ago due to the vines developing a root disease, we picked our way along the old rubble paths peering into ruined homes imaging what life would have been like. Our guide... More

Just got back from the most fabulous dinner right outside Hvar. The cab ride is absolutely worth it (200 kuna both ways). Definitely off of the beaten path (one lane, gravel road) and the price for dinner and ambience is undervalued in my opinion. Berti will make you feel right at home and he brings such a richness to the... More

We love Stori Komin so much. We make sure to eat here every visit to Hvar. The lamb and potatoes are great and the atmosphere can't be beat.

We did a full day wine tasting tour and it ended in Malo Grablje at Stori Komin for a late lunch. The restaurant is located in the abandoned village. It's absolutely beautiful. We were treated to a starter of meats and cheeses with olives and pickled shallots as well as sweet wine and grappa. The main course was lamb, chicken,... More

This is amazing. It is an abandon town off the winding roads in Hvar. A chef has set up a small dining area and place to make dinner. The authentic experience is as good as the food! It creates a dining experience like no other.

Disclaimer: We booked this as part of a private cooking class during the day, so there was no one else, and we didn't pick what we wanted to eat. As part of our honeymoon package, our travel agency highly recommended Berti's class, and they couldn't have been more right. This was such a cool experience. We got a ride to... More
