One of the best lunches I've had in a long time. We ate gnocci with mushrooms and roast duck with mlici which is a type of flatbread that needs to be cooked. Aslo had a bean salad with onions and pumpkin seed oil. Everything was...better than great. We also had apple strudel for desert. The check was about 35€.More

Very tasty food, regional flavor. Great place for daily excursion. Has small build makets of local attractions, perfect for families with kids to explore. Also vicinity of medieval Croatian castle VELIKI TABOR is plus.

Fresh food. I recommend to try chicken and štrukli (cooked or baked in the oven). This place is suitable for families, friends and couples. There were 2 dogs and 2 cats to see and miniature goats. Wonderful.

This place is a beautiful example of rural tourism in the vicinity of Croatia capital, yet, with all the preserved nature and stillness of rural area. Great for weekend excursion.Especially beautiful in autumn, overwhelmed with colours of wineyards, corns and woods. The menu is offering...all standard dishes of traditional Zagorje cousin. For recommendation is a beef in wine souce, homemade pasta, Gresna gorica stake, potatoes with ham, and for dessert homemade apple strudel. All is delicious, waiters very pleasant and kind, service quick. Very suitable for family weekend lunch, especially outside on terraces. Mini zoo interesting for kids, enough place on grass for playing. Vicinity of the unique Veliki Tabor castle is one more advantage of this place. Giving 4, as cannot give minus 5. Was missing the offer of homemade products to buy and bring home, would like the menu would be enriched with something unique.More

Cute fun restaurant/pub with very friendly staff and great views. Off beaten track. Near Slovenian border, way up in the hills.

Gresna Gorica is a wonderful traditional restaurant set in a forested area with verdant valleys. The restaurant is decorated with period furniture and tools and hand-made art. You can eat in or outside on a terrace surrounded by trees and a vineyard. In addition to...the good food made from "grandma's" recipes, you can easily visit Veliki Tabor Castle, located nearby. We had the slow cooked pork with roasted potatoes and a nice green salad. All this accompanied by beer just hit the spot. Located on a country road, this restaurant was a wonderful place to relax halfway thru our trip that day and have a wonderful lunchMore

I really enjoy being in this restaurant. It has excellent food (mostly not so expensive). But what i like the most is the atmosphere. Their staff (waiters mostly) are very kind and respectful.

We were passing nearby and stopped for lunch. This place is really nice and relaxing. You can see little models of nearby buildings on the way from the parking lot to the restaurant. They have a big terrace and a large backyard where you can...sit and eat. You are surrounded with vineyard and trees. We ate slow cooked pork with potatoes, cooked štrukli and mixed salad. Everything was really great, full of flavor. You could tell that the food is homemade, from nearby family farms. The service was little slow because at the time they were filming for a cooking tv-show. But they are all nice and kind.More
