Went there tonight with our kids and it was terrible. They advertise a beef burger on the menu, but when it came it was a tiny bit of ground beef mixed with cucumber, onions, eggs, and breadcrumbs. I assume this is to serve you a very cheap burger and a not so cheap price. It was not eatable! The pizza... More

I have had much worse pizza, and it being made in a wood oven (as it should, adds quite a bit. However, it is not like pizza in Italy, and certainly not like better places. But this is China, pretty remote too, so quite impressed by what they achieve. Service soso.

The pizza is awesome! The other stuff we tried was odd, but that is to be expected when you order tacos and palak paneer in China! We recommend sticking to the pizza and our teenage daughters rate the banana splits highly.

We went to La Stella's as it was recommended as the best pizza in Dali by the rough guide. It was ok. The tomato sauce and mozzarella were correct but the pizza crust definitely lacked something as it was almost tasteless.

Went here with a group as it was recommend to us. We had to teach them how to make salad cook steak. We bought them cloth to be presentable. Service was slow. Late. Boss is unfriendly. When we left they add a new fee of 1000 cny to pay coming from nowhere. Pure scam. Don't go there

This place was recommended to us by the boss of our guest house, since it is owned by the same people who own it I was really excited about wood oven pizza, but at the end i was really disappointed. Pizza is mediocre as best, as good as you would find in other Chinese restaurants, which means not very good.... More

The only thing that is worth trying is the beef pizza, it's cheesy and delicious. The curry and spaghetti are amateur made foods with low budget ingredients and with either too many spices or hardly much. The seating is nice and the atmosphere is peaceful. There are also a lot of magazines to keep you company.

We went to la Stella after a Dali foreign friend told us it was the best pizza in town, with wood oven. The place is really nice and staff is kind but the food quali is terrible, we tried a pizza a lasagna and Cantonese rice, all badly cooked and a disappointment. The prices are cheap, so if you spent... More

With limited good quality western food in the old city of Dali, La Stella's has become my choice for pizzas. Their pizzas may not oozing out the cheese but it's good enough. They also provide delivery and good friendly service.

folks recommended La Stellas to us and we went several times. The wood oven baked pizza was the best. It may be called just Stellas...that was on the menu
