We went to Satterfield's on a Thursday night with business acquaintances. Even though they were from Birmingham, they had never been to this restaurant. After our experience I expect they will return often! The food was absolutely divine! I ordered salmon which was not overly seasoned ( just enough), overly sauced or overly cooked. Just perfectly done. My husband ordered... More

Not sure why I've never eaten here before. I have clearly been missing out. The food was excellent. I had the pork and my wife the salmon. Both were cooked to perfection and very tasty. The oysters were excellent. Loved the fried okra. The dessert options were excellent. The cocktails were very good. Customer service was first rate. Another great Birmingham restaurant!!... More

Had a fabulous night out with my husband at the Chef's Counter. Got to see the food being prepped and cooked and ask questions. Chef's and all staff very professional and friendly. Food delicious beyond my expectations. Valet on a rainy night a definite bonus. Would definitely I rely recommend.

We celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary here on August 6. We couldn't have been more pleased with the experience. We had made reservations, specifying that it was our anniversary. From the time we introduced ourselves, everyone went out of their way to wish us Happy Anniversary. Our waiter, Donald, was professional and personable. My husband ordered a Spring Mule as... More

My husband and I visited this restaurant on a lark, without a reservation and were fortunately able to get a seat...the place was really busy but it was early, so we were able to get a table for two. The wait staff was VERY professional, kind and knowledgeable about the food and wine selections. We will definitely be returning!!

My husband and I were visiting Birmingham for the weekend and wanted to go out for a nice dinner. I looked up Restaurants in the area we were staying and found this place. It has decent reviews and looked like food we might enjoy. The valet parking was a nice feature. I had made reservations online and when we walked... More

I have eaten at some of the best restaurants around and the fennel crusted lamb was the best meal I can recall. The service was perfect, personal but not too buddy buddy. ambiance was just right for that special occasion. We will have to go back and try some other dishes!

Went for a business dinner and had a great time. Food was excellent, delivered to the table quickly and the staff was great. Our water was never empty and a drink was offered when low, I'm my opinion this is a mark of a great restaurant and a pet peeve of mine. I will go back.

We were there on a Thursday night so there was plenty of room and reservations would not have been needed, although they were busy toward the end of our meal. Great meal as in the past. They do tend to be on the gourmet side, so don't go and expect to get country cooking.
