Spacious no wait and smells of BBQ pork, brisket, turkey and chicken. Reasonable prices and great food (even a dieter or Vegan can find some thing to eat). They have an assortment of salads and sides. But you should really go for the meat +3. Deviled eggs to die for!

Immensely enjoyed our pulled chicken and brisket sandwiches. Good food, extremely pleasant staff and clean premises. Those little starter biscuits are addicting! This is a chain, but a good one. We have enjoyed all our meals at other locations as well. Good variety.

I always enjoy Jim N Nicks, it's a chain you can count on for consistent good food. I've been to other chains with super friendly employees so I was disappointed to have a server with no enthusiasm. Service is half of the experience and for that I would rate average, but the food was very good. I would go back... More

We love Jim and Nicks and always come for some good barbecue when we are in town. They have terrific biscuits before your meal. I love their Pig in a Garden or their Loaded Potatoes. They have great choices of beer on tap and other drinks. You won't be disappointed. The service is also great.

Simple laid back restaurant - worth the wait. Down home seating - Great tasting BBQ (North Carolina style). Great wickle pickles, too!!

Staff at Alabama visitors center recommended this restaurant. Though it is a chain the Q was great. My wife had the pulled pork I had sampler plate or brisket and back ribs. We were not disappointed at all. Ribs were meaty and juicy the brisket was just smokey enough for my taste and the pulled pork was moist and superb.... More

Happened upon this place while passing through town and we were pleasantly surprised. After enjoying some of the best BBQ in the country in the Carolinas, Georgia and Tennessee, we didn't really expect such good food in Alabama. The pork, slaw, BBQ beans and sweet tea were all very good. Glad we stopped.

We shared the brisket and ribs, beans and cole slaw and it was all good but perhaps not the best of our BBQ trip through the south. Worth a stop. Service was good.

Ate at Jim N Nicks at the Birmingham Airport on October 15, 2016. It was around 3:30pm and hardly anyone there. Seated immediately beside a window and our server was courteous and prompt with everything. I am still in disbelief how anything that smelled so absolutely heavenly when walking by, could be so disappointing and TERRIBLE!!!! My husband and I... More

best Bar B Q, best cheese biscuits, amazing pies. YOU HAVE TO LEAVE ROOM FOR DESSERT! Let's not talk about the ribs. Just eat them. No trip to Birmingham will be what it should be unless you eat here.
