This place is SO neat! I love the fact that it is nestled away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the streets, but still in a neighborhood setting. The indoor/outdoor build makes you feel right at home from the first foot in, and the food is GOOD. They have both Latin and American fare; I had the... More

Reminds me of a fast food but you have servers that bring your food and refills on your own. Delicious and large portions. The steak quesadilla is yummy. There was a comedy show next door not appropriate for kids. Outside sitting and enjoyable

Went for lunch and got the rojo burrito. It was absolutely delicious and some of the best tex mex in the area. It didnt take long to get seated and the prices were very reasonable. Highly recommended!

Such tasty food with such speedy and excellent service. We were here with a crowd and they didn't even blink an eye. My hubby had the soft tacos while I had the Philly Cheeses Steak Quesadilla (special that day) and paid extra for some mighty fine black beans and rice, Their salsa is super chunky and very flavorful. Everyone liked... More

...That's how it feels when we go over to Rojo. Walk inside, check the specials on the board to your right or grab a menu from the same area if it's your first time or you need a refresher. Head straight on up to the cashier, place your order, pay your tab and grab a number. Either grab a glass... More

Since we are visiting family not far from Rojo, we decided to get carry-out last night. I'm a big taco fan, the spicier the better. Rojo has ten different tacos on the menu and two are labeled "spicy". I ordered both the "Tomatilla" and the " Bandito" tacos. Having enjoyed Rojo's food before I knew they also have an habanero... Had a pretty good dinner here during game 7 of the World Series 2016. Beers are excellent, chips and salsa are good also. I had the shrimp paella, which is spicy and good, but the sausage put me off a bit, more of a kilbasa rather than the smoked that I'm a custom too. The pork burrito looked good. I'd... More

I absolutely love tacos, all kinds. I happened to run upon this place on a quick day trip to Birmingham. The atmosphere was great. Selection of food unique. Service was wonderful. However, I need to talk about the tacos! I got a blackened maui maui with pineapple sauce that was extremely fresh. I also added their habenero puree, which is... More

Let me start off by saying the restaurant was very nice in appearance and location and the staff was great! The poor rating is because of the food. Maybe we caught them on a bad night. Everything lacked seasoning, specifically, the steaks, chicken tacos, the coleslaw, the chicken burrito, the Spanish rice and the beers were not ice cold. One... More
