Ichiban is a family owned business which takes pride in its food and service. A hibachi chef cooks your food at your table during which he puts on a show of skills and also asks for participants to assist. On my last visit I had lobster and scallops which were cooked to perfection. Their fillet is also extremely good. They... More

Excellent sushi and great friendly staff. The owner, Angel, runs a tight ship and is very friendly and accommodating.

Waited for over one hour after being seated on a Saturday night with no apology or acknowledgement. We were told they were short on chefs. There was also a very unappetizing sewage smell coming from the back of the restaurant/kitchen. The food was good when we were finally served but, kids were starving and exhausted by that point and the... More

The chef's are great cooks and really do a good job of putting on a show while they cook. The food is outstanding, everything from the fried rice to sauces (especially the ginger sauce!) Best Japanese restaurant I've ever been to as far as the taste of the food.

Visited on a Sunday night, got seated promptly with our drink orders. Overall, the inside is pretty dark with the various grill stationed throughout. The lady who served drinks/soup/salads was very friendly. Chef was pretty decent with the show as he cooked. Got the kids involved so we enjoyed that. Food was just average, however. Fried rice was a bit... More

Service was great. The cooking show was fun, but the chicken was rather dry and tough. Adding insult to injury, they had only 2 dipping sauces for the meat. I am used to having a third "white" sauce, (my favorite) at Japanese steakhouses. It's absence was very disappointing. Overall, the price was too high based on the poor quality of... More

Everything was wonderful. Very family friendly. Everyone was wonderful to us. Chef was great. Entertained me and a group of my friends. We all laughed and had a great time. The food was so GOOD. The fired rice was best in town. A friend of mine had the sushi and she said it was great as well. We plan to... More

Dinner there last night and still suffering. FAR too much salt and the same things were used to prepare every dish therefor it all tasted the same. Our party had red snapper, chicken and beef. Despite a good show we will not be back.

The sushi here is Phenomenal. The best are the Rock & Roll II and the Dynamite Role with mounds of spicy crab on top. The sushi bar area is a little cluttered but the food is great. Try the shrimp sauce with fried rice for a nice flare on a side item. The Sushi is reasonable, 15% off on Mondays... More
