Shula’s Steak House is the classic American steakhouse: a fine dining white tablecloth restaurant. In order to be the best steak house, Don Shula followed the same principles that made him the winningest coach in football history - select the best talent available and give them the resources they need to succeed. In the restaurant business, that meant serving Premium Black Angus Beef® steaks, the best beef money can buy and providing our restaurant team with the best training. In terms of our restaurant team, he ran it like a sports team. In sports, one's performance is based on results - either you win or lose. The same is true for our restaurant team. Our managers are called Head Coaches and they have the authority to manage the team as they see fit to ensure repeated winning seasons. Our custom center cuts of Premium Black Angus Beef® steaks accompanied with our aging process make up our award winning SHULA CUT ® , the best beef money can buy. Our custom cuts and aging process are the highest in the industry. You won't find a better steak anywhere. Our restaurant is themed after the 1972 Miami Dolphins' "Perfect Season" - the only team in NFL history to finish a season undefeated. The menus are hand painted on an official NFL game football. At Shula's Steak Houses, one of the featured entrees is the 48-Ounce Porterhouse. Those who finish it join Shula's 48-Ounce Club, which currently has more than 26,000 members. I invite you to experience Shula's Steak House, where we only offer the biggest and the best. Shula’s Steak House Birmingham is a proud recipient of Wine Spectator’s 2011 Award of Excellence. With over 150 wines in our collection and a knowledgeable staff, we can help you select the perfect pairing to compliment your meal.

Great food, awesome service! My husband treated me to a weekend of shopping and we ordered room service! It was fabulous! The hospitality was fantastic and they were extremely nice. Recommend everyone trying it!

It was no one in the restaurant and the bartender was just slow and ruder. It appeared as though I was bothering him. The food was ok but I have gotten better treatment at Shula's in other cities.

We celebrated my son's birthday here a couple of weeks ago. The service we received was fantastic. Shula's food is some of the best I've ever had. The crab Mac & cheese IS the best I've ever had. Steaks are huge and cooked to perfection. We also had mushrooms, asparagus, and steak fries, all were wonderful. The only problem we... More

My husband and I have been to Shula's several times this month. We know that we are going to have an excellent meal. We didn't have reservations so the host said she could let us know in a hour if they would be able to seat us. She said they had a party of 28 and a party of 8... More

From the fabulous appletinis to the appetizers and main course, I now have a new favorite restaurant. It was classy and high end and we will be back!

I'd never eaten here. We were at a meeting at the galleria and decided to take advantage of the opportunity. We made a reservation and were a little surprised when we got there early and walked right in. The 4 Graces pino and apple pear martini were great. We shared a 12 oz filet, medium, and it did not disappoint.... More

Conveniently located at Hyatt Regency. Food was good and filling. Great steakhouse. Loved the specials highlight on the Shula footballs.

This restaurant and Ruth's Chris are interchangeable, but that's not a bad thing if you're in the mood for a really great steak, and you have the funding and the desire to spend those funds. 6 oz. filet is $40. Sides are extra, although they are generous, so sharing is an option. Full liquor menu as well. If you had... More

So, I live overseas now and when I travel back to the US, I am always looking for a good steak. I happen to be in Birmingham, when a friend set up a dinner party. I arrived a bit early and this guy looks at me like he knows me. I am bit embarrassed as he starts talking to me... More
