I have now eaten at New China Town four times. I have tried three different dishes and all of them have been great. The service is wonderful!! Lunch specials and prices are amazing! Lots of food for a low price!

Ordered take out through Waitr app. The food was good, hot, and appeared to be freshly made. Nothing outstanding. Fried rice is usually always good, but this was rather lackluster in flavor and color. Portions were very generous. I had broccoli and beef, it was good but I guess I like a little more seasoning in my food. I would eat there in person so that I could make my wishes known to the chef. I'm sure when they prepare takeout, they stick to the general recipe.

Ordered carryout when in a downtown hotel and was not disappointed. The Pu Pu platter for two was excellent as was the egg drop and seafood combination dish. Delivery was a little slow/long but the food was hot and delicious.

Decided I just wanted to eat in my hotel room for the evening so I walked up to New China Town for an order to go. Service was friendly and quick. Food was very tasty and served nice and hot/fresh. Large portions. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely 100% the best restaurant in Birmingham, Chinese or otherwise. The owner is so incredibly sweet, and she always remembers you when you return! She even knows my order (and my mom's order) by heart, and always remembers that my boyfriend orders coffee. Just that would be enough to recommend it, but the food is also amazing! They have a huge selection of vegan options, and every single one I've had is delicious. My favorite is the sweet and sour tofu, but the curry tofu, vegetable fried rice, vegetable dumplings, Mongolian chicken, and Mongolian beef are all incredible, as well. If you only ever eat at one restaurant in Birmingham, this needs to be it!!!

We ordered our food. We were only 2 miles away. Ordered food for 4 people. I ordered at 7:09 and was told 30 minutes. I think they forgot the order. Finally at 9:15 our food was delivered after calling to ask where was our food. The food was good, but they should have not charged us or given us a discount. After waiting that long they should have just given us the food.

We stopped in here for a quick bite after drinks when we were in the Five Points area of Birmingham. The decor is typical of Chinese restaurants. There are booths and tables, most of which were empty because we went in after normal dinner hours. Luckily they are open until 11 on Saturdays which works out well with the bars in that area.
We had chicken and broccoli, fried rice, spring rolls, wonton soup, and pot stickers. All the food was good, the spring rolls stood out to me as being large and very fresh when we got them. Service was efficient if not overly friendly, and the prices were very reasonable. I would go back again if I was in the area.

This restaurant is located in Five Points South, where there are some hotels and restaurants/bars. Some bus lines pass on the 20th St S.
It is possible to order food online or by phone (and I think that they can deliver it, as I saw a delivery guy with a bike).
I had lunch in this restaurant on Friday. The place was almost empty, maybe because it was 2 pm.
The staff was kind and they are actual Chinese, as I heard them speaking Mandarin.
For lunch, there is a special menu, which is very cheap (around 6$) and composed of a main entree that you can choose from a list, together with either fried rice or chow mein, and one among wonton soup, egg drop soup, or eggroll. They brought me also some egg noodle chips. They weren't fresh, though (maybe cooked some hours before). I ordered wonton soup, fried rice, and roast pork egg foo young. The soup was good. Also the wonton tasted good, even if its wrapper could have been a little bit thinner so that one can appreciate more the filling. Fried rice was fine, not too oily as sometimes happens in some Chinese restaurants. The roast pork egg foo young had a strong flavor, because the omelette was with white onions and roast pork and it was a little bit too greasy. The quantity was more than enough for me.
In the end, I think that the ratio between quality and price is very good for lunch, so I definitely suggest it.
