We ordered the Ninja Chicken, Wasabi Shrimp, Crab Puff, Spicy Crab Roll, Tonkotsu Ramen, and Karate Chicken Soba. It was all good and we had plenty of leftovers for lunch the next day.

I didn't get to go to Ikko, but I did get to eat the Tonkotsu ramen bowl that my wife brought me and the pork buns and fried cheese cake and I must say that it was all delicious. I will be getting that ramen...bowl again or maybe something more adventurous. I loved what I saw on the menu online and I will definitely be going out to this place soon. I don't give 5 stars to places unless I've been there personally, but based off the food alone this place is at least a 4. I will be doing another review for the actual visit.More

As per the title this is a pretty average asian/fusion/chines/japanese/american restaurant serving everything that can be possibly linked to Asia, China, Japan etc etc. from sushi to poke (that is actually Hawaiian if I remember...). But my highlight is on ramen (I am fond of...ramen and I have whenever I can) that is featured in the usual 4 types (from tonkotsu to shoyu). Good rich broth, abundant portion, tasty, satisfying! So let's say this place is an average 3 stars but deserves the fourth for the ramen, enjoy!More

Customer Service was great. They are very nice and go the extra mile. However, make sure you know what you're ordering beforehand. Note that their dishes that you might think you're familiar with are not the same or what you would expect. For example, the...sushi (we ordered the UAB Roll because one of my friends is starting this upcoming fall) fell apart before we could eat it, the sesame chicken isn't breaded or sweet, and what looks like yum yum sauce is a spicy mayonnaise. When questioning it, nicely I sware, I was told that it's "traditional Japanese" not fast food. I was slightly offended because I've been to plenty of Japanese, Chinese, Thai and Korean restaurants, not just mall food court or Panda express. After going I realized that they are known for their Ramen which I didn't try and would be willing to go again and order off of that menu, especially since there are pictures of the Ramen but not the other dishes. Some of the people I went with had Chicken Fried Rice and really enjoyed it.More

Great Poke bowls, Ramens, and some really cool Japanese street foods, the only regret is the don't have any of the darker Miso ( Red, Brown or Black) and they lack udon.

My first time there, with a total grouping of twelve none the less, but most definitely not gonna be my last time there. Such a delight, ramen and sushi were excellent. Great atmosphere with comfty seats. Would love to try out some of their drinks...next time I'm back!More

The food was fresh, well prepared, tasty, and nicely plated. The menu selection was expansive. The place was clean and attractive. The staff was helpful and friendly. The prices were modest. What more could you ask for?!

I have been to ikko twice now when visiting my son at UAB. I think the food is delicious with great fresh choices. The menu is expansive and can be overwhelming the first time.

Wonderful. A must when in Five Point South, Birmingham, Alabama. Food waa amazing. Servers very attentive and owner greeted us when we arrived.
