Interesting place. Like the menus options. Food was good. Came in for lunch. Food came out fast. Staff all excellent. Like the outdoor seating area. Didn’t like the parking lot being a pay lot.

Menu is not large, but enough selections that everyone should be pleased. My table had ½ pound hamburgers and some of the best fries I've ever had, chicken salad wrap that got rave reviews, shrimp tacos, salmon with sweet potato risotto and asparagus and a...steak sandwich. Everyone was please with their food. They also have a great outdoor covered patio to enjoy during nice weather.More

My first girls night out in awhile. We were going to see a band at Saturn of Birmingham ( look for my review on them as well). The Avondale Common House is across the street along with a couple other eateries. The atmosphere was nice,...service was great and we liked their food. They have vegetarian options as well. Made with locally grown produce. Always a plus. Great plates, just enough to fill us up, but not make us feel weighed down. I had the Southern BLT with a tomato cucumber salad and my friend had a.carnita bowl with half pork carnitas and half jackfruit carnitas. Both were amazing. Thanks so much. We had a great first visit.More

We really enjoyed the food. I recommend the the blackened shrimp and grits. The bread pudding was the perfect end. Got a little loud though.

Passing through town and found this gem not too far of a drive from our hotel... couldn’t have been more pleased. Half off bottle wines on Wednesday. And the food was amazing... the best fried oysters and shrimp tacos. The chef knows what he’s doing....Great services and atmosphere.More

We have eaten here twice. It will do in a pinch, but Birmingham has lots of better places. It is quite loud. On the plus side it is fairly kid friendly

The outdoor seating was nice on a warm evening. Appropriate ambience, complimented by rich, core soul food with some flair. The oft ordered tachos were cheesy and good, would have been great if piping hot. Sampled the tasty fried chicken breast which was excellent and...right out of the oven. The sides of collards and grits were ‘meh’. Overall, nice location in a great neighborhood with average food.More

The food is great and I love the atmosphere! I highly recommend the mimosas since they give you a bottle of champagne and a bottle of orange juice. I had the Salmon Benedict and it was delicious. My boyfriend had the french toast and loved...it!More

The food here is very good. The crispy kung pao cauliflower appetizer is wonderful. Everything our group ordered was very good and enjoyed and shared around the table.

We had a nice brunch on the patio. Build your own Benedict was good with smoked salmon. Live music was a little too loud.
