We have tried to go there based on TripAdvisor recommendations but found the place closed (24 Dec 2015). The following day it was closed too. No information was displayed, not even a sign that this is a restaurant. The ladies from the restaurant opposite said that it shut down for good.

A good vegetarian restaurant, nice ambiance, ordering by ipads, so you have an idea of whatvyou are getting. The food was delicious, the price was fair.

Had a fantastic quiet lunch here, and was extremely impressed. The place is nice, calm and clean. The menu was on an ipad, making it easy to order a bunch of dishes... and I was not disappointed! Every dish was good, and a couple of them were exceptional. Both the meat lover & the vegetarian had an equally great time... More

The place looks nice...that's its only advantage. The food however is a terrible experiment to turn Chinese cuisine into a gourmet experience that explodes right on your face. Tasteless food at an incriminating hight price-tag. Avoid this place and spend your money on the much better small restaurants around it.

Being vegetarians who love Chinese food we expected to get dishes with substitution for meat but with the same great taste. Our review is based on the two dishes we ordered so it's very possible that we simply had the misfortune of picking the wrong dishes. The place itself was very beautiful and elegant. We ordered Kong Pao vegetables which... More

Wow, we went there as our daugther is vegan and my wife and I think that the meat quality in China is not always acceptable anyway. What we got to eat in the Pure Lotus was so delicious, it is hard to describe. Every dish was distinctive, letting you taste all the ingredients but at the same time using spices... More

After being disappointed in an imitation-European restaurant on our first night in town, we were very happy to discover this place, where we have returned every day of our visit to Yangshuo. The food is excellent, the service charming. You can sit inside, amid a wealth of Buddhist (I think) art work, or outside, on the terrace. It also helps... More

Maybe the most beautiful restaurant in the West Street of Yangshuo, with Buddhist like furniture, terrace on the river and a surprising wall with bottles of wine but...when we asked to get a Tuscany white wine (not even expensive) served chilled we discovered they don't put the wine in the fridge and don't even have a basket with ice! The... More

Ok food, quite expensive. Wasn't overly impressed but not bad. Maybe worth trying once. Service was reasonable
