We only went to this due to the reviews and the only number one restaurant in the area but we thought what the hay....it is definitely a HUGE place with so many tables, we got to head upstairs so it was nice to have a seat with the view. They don't speak a lot of English but the menu is... More

The ambiance and atmosphere is subdued, the service surprisingly good for a Chinese restaurant. The decor quite attractive, and everything looks clean. We were quite pleased with the dishes we ordered. They were tasty and very reasonably priced. Much recommended.

Loved this restaurant! No-fuss and authentic. Very courteous staff. Very fresh ingredients, very reasonably priced and the staff do their best to cook and bring it to you in no time. Ambience is very nice. Lovely furniture. P.S. : The bambooshoot is one of the specialities there.A must try.

We were brought to this restaurant by locals and was surprised by the way the dishes were presented. The restaurant physically displays cooked dishes to show diners what to expect when they order. Some items can be a tad oily. Portions are good for 4 people while soups are good for 6-8 people! I especially liked the chicken soup with... More

Went here to try the Anhui cusine. Definitely a great place for people who don't know Chinese, or wish to see how the food looks like before ordering. You ordered by writing down what you wanted on a piece of paper, and you could walk around taking a look at the dishes on the menu. All of the dishes were... More

When we were asking for a place to eat dinner, we were told that we should just go to the hotel restaurant since there would be no local restaurants that had English menus. When we found this restaurant in Trip Advisor (rated no. 1), we decided to go check it out. The experience at this restaurant was perfect! They for... More

As we couldn't speak or read Chinese this was a good option for us, as previous reviewers have explained you are given a number which is your table number, go along and select your food and then it is cooked and delivered to your table. We enjoyed our food, great view of the old street, however it was incredibly noisy... More

After three days on the mountain, we were searching for a nice sit-down restaurant. Eating here, I can say that My family and I were definitely satisfied. Great service, beautiful establishment, and delicious food with a great view of old-town.

It's great - go there now. The food is superb and the beer is blizzard cold. The black fungus dish with chilli, black vinegar and coriander is the best I have ever had. The fish was well done, and yes I will have another plate of hawthorn jellies thank you. My partner is Chinese speaking so I can't comment on... More
