My girlfriend and I ate here one morning in Battambang. The prices are very reasonable, around $3-$4 for most breakfast items, and there is a huge selection such as oatmeal, omelettes, bacon, eggs, toast etc. The drinks menu is great and we ordered two iced teas for $1.50 each.
It is centrally located, the staff are friendly, the WiFi works great.
All in all would absolutely recommend eating breakfast here.

Group of 10 friends, some with extra needs ( gluten and dairy free), so enjoyed the quality of food at Kinyei. Western and Khmer food done well and good size meals for excellent value. Remembered this cafe from 3 yrs ago... that's how special it is. Coffee and other drinks very good.

The Kinyei Cafe is a very small Cafe located at the end of a back street. A little hard to find. The food was good but very limited menu. They try to do English style breakfast but fail at it. I don't think that they have ever eaten a real one so they don't know what foreigners are expecting. English/American food is better than most in Battambang give them a try

Staff are pleasant enough and the surroundings are respectable with free WiFi. Sadly they got my order slightly wrong and it was incomplete(i appreciate that happens occasionally). Despite the cafe not appearing to be particularly busy my BLT sandwich took quite a time to arrive and i did not have time to wait for my incorrect order to be rectified. Despite the high recommendations i was left rather disappointed. Coffee served in a standard type glass didn’t particularly impress me either!

We initially went for a coffee which was very good indeed. We returned later for lunch and that wasn’t so good. The veggie burger wasn’t a burger at all but a stack of vegetables, some of which were undercooked. Eating it like a burger was impossible. The tortilla rice bowl had some tasty elements but it was unbalanced with too much lettuce and raw cabbage. The rice in the bottom was a single congealed lump. Nice setup and staff but the food was a definite game of two halves.

We had breakfast here today 28 December 2021. Really nice food, we had pancakes and breakfast burrito, and 4 lattes. Had 4 coffees as it was so good, proper hot coffee. Staff was really attentive and nice as soon as we arrived, brought us fresh water, which was free. Portions also nice and big. Give it a try when u r in Battambang, big thank you to lovely staff for looking after us so well.

This cafe is tucked down a side street and doesn't look much from the outside, but trust me, you want to go here! Friendly staff, cute interior, and the best breakfast I've had in ages. The gluten free pancakes are so tasty I went back the next day to have them again. Good shakes, and the coffee looks great. I believe they have aircon upstairs as well to keep you cool. Highly recommended!

I love this cute little place. They do great western food and a few khmer dishes. 100% western comfort food. Nice club sandwich, great eggs benny and good coffee. Very happy. Staff were friendly and attentive. Big smiles!

Really lovely little cafe. They have an aircon room if you need to escape the heat. My burrito was fantastic, and my brother in law reckoned their wrap was the best one he'd ever had anywhere!

A cute place on a cute street. Cakes are amazing - passionfruit our favourite, great coffee and toasted bagels too. Kitchen closes at 3 I think but worth a trip for cake and coffee. Lovely staff.

Friendly young staff, they are all smiling and seem to enjoy being here. Good english too. The coffee is good, balanced strength wise, and hot: real good coffee. Foods are fairly good too, good portions.
You can enjoy your time upstairs, which is better in my opinion as the street is quite dusty.

Lovely little relaxing cafe nestled in the corner of 1.5 street. Good menu, great food (try the Khmer style porridge - really good) and in a country where excellent staff are the norm, the team stand out. Super friendly and helpful.

Maybe the best coffee we experienced in SE Asia so far! The fruit salad was also just what we needed! The place is very nicely decorated and the staff well trained.
