My friend and I were taken on the back of his bike to the local market where we were encouraged to learn and pick out our own veg and fish! We were able to choose the dishes we wanted and it was wonderfully taught with patience and enthusiasm. Honestly one of the best things I did on my month of... More

We went to the markets first to buy the ingredients for the cooking class (in the morning, the ingredients will be fresher). We were told what all the different veges and... More

Very nice owner, good cooking class. Enjoyed the traditional food and explanation a lot. To sit in the restaurant is very touristly and the food is less nice then in the class.

Having taken this cooking class, we were given a clear understanding of what it means to be a chef in Battambang/Cambodia. From being told which are the essential ingredients on a foodmarket, to a motorride towards the chef's very own home, and an one-to-one explanation of the preparations. With a strong sense of hygiene, taste and cutting methods, he showed... More
