I’ve eaten in Wonderful Tasty a couple of times and both meals were absolutely delicious! The coconut chicken curry is creamy and mild and very flavoursome and comes with coconut rice. They do a veg version too. And the Thukpa is amazing. You can have...it extra spicy if you like and it comes out in a heated dish with hot embers inside to keep it hot. It’s almost big enough to share, but it’s so tasty that you will probably want it all to yourself!! Highly recommended ❤️More

We visited for lunch, as the reviews were good. It was deserted, still we thought to give it a try. First we had to remove a spider served along with the main plate. Then came food, avocado salad was okay, albeit with lot of raw...garlic. We had ordered coconut curry chicken and coconut rice with Indian bean curry with chapatis. What came on table was already prepared chicken and rice with coconut cream poured over it!!! Bean curry was actually black gram lentil and chapatis were half cooked. Once food was served, the head waiter went missing, we couldn't even complain about anything. Either their chef is on holiday or they are no longer interested.More

There are some great restaurants in Bagan/ Nyaung U but the Wonderful Tasty is the best in my opinion.The food is delicious, well cooked and very reasonably priced. A small family run business that know how to cook and look after their customers. Highly recommend...this place!More

We ate here three times during a five-day stay in Bagan. Wonderful juices ( lime and ginger), Great and large salads, wonderful Asian and Indian foods with lots of spices. Really good value and the owner is such a nice guy. Did not understand why...the place was less crowded than some others.More

Given the high ratings, I was expecting a good Indian meal and service but left a little underwhelmed. I cannot fault the service and, for my Indian set meal, the rice and chapatis were topped up as required. Friends and I visited this place following a recommendation and it certianly didn’t disappoint. The curry’s were some of the tastiest I’ve ever had, wonderful chutney on the side, fresh chapatti, just great! We were the only ones in this restaurant and we couldn't understand why! It is low season but we loved this place!! The staff were lovely. We ordered the Burmese coconut curry which was delicious and a thai green curry which was different from other...green curries we've had but lovely flavour! The pork was slightly tough but otherwise food was brilliant!! After dinner we had a pineapple juice and whiskey which was made with fresh pineapple and was delicious and a gin and fresh lime juice 👍 they cost 1500 a drink which we thought was amazing value for the quality. I had the Nepali and my partner had a Myanmar set menu. So much food! Everything was delicious. Great fruit juice as well. Lovely staff!! Highly recommend!

This was honestly one of the best restaurants I have been during my 7 months in Asia! The owners are very very friendly and the food is excellent! Go with the Nepali or Indian set and you won't regret it.
