The Hadji Nikoli Inn in Veliko Tarnovo is one of the most valuable specimen of the late Renaissance architecture in Bulgaria. It was built in 1858 and is declared a national antique and cultural monument of national significance. Following a long restoration the Hadji Nikoli Inn now comprises of a restaurant with differently decorated lounges, a beautiful garden, wine-bar with a shop, museum and Art gallery.
Too bad it wasn't opened. I wanted to go to this restaurant, but it is closed until March 2021. The location is very good, in the area of the historic center, in the area there are many antique shops and 2 museums. If I had...found it open, I would have had more to say. Maybe next time.More
ry cosy restaurant in the center of the Veliko Tarnovo. Extremely delicious food and very kind staff. Every dish we have chosen was good. Strongly recommend to visit it and enjoy pleasure of good time spent at perfect place.
Fantastic atmosphere, blended with exquisite cuisine. I love it how the ancient heritage of this 19th century place meets the modern demands in a much non-pretentious yet very elegant manner. To wrap it up- you get a perfect meal at a fair price and feast...your eyes and soul at the same time.More
It appears management has changed recently and quality has gone drastically down. The place is not well maintained, cook is different and the place has lost its edge. Hope they get it back together as the place used to be a perl.
It is a place with tasty food and excellent service. But the reason it is an unforgettable place is that the Hadji Nikoli Inn is one of the most important architectural monuments which is still standing and perfectly preserved for everyone to feel the incredible...atmosphere of 19th century Bulgaria.More
