If you look for the best restorant in old nesebar visit old sailor the staff its absolutely 💯 friendly and food is amazing i had my drink and fresh fish lovely salad I'm so happy to vizit this restorant again and again 😋 😊 😀
I think it was the best place to eat in our whole trip. So good sea food mixed with great service it’s awesome connection. I really recommended, sea food was fresh and excellent prepared. Located in great place.
The restaurant has an extensive menu, lots of choices of seafood, fish and meat, and the atmosphere is unbeatable. The service is great, short waiting time and the staff is friendly and makes you feel very welcome. They speak English and Polish so no issues...with communication. Simply the best restaurant in the area.More
The old quarter of Nessebar is so fabulous that no matter where they eat, everyone seems to rate that place the best. The Old Sailor easily qualifies. The fun-kitschy nautical décor, the extensive seafood menu, crisp Bulgarian wine selection and the very solicitous, gentle service...make it a meal to remember.
My wife enjoyed an avocado salad; our friend got barbecued pork bits. Because I was delighted to see them offered, I ordered a starter of whelks, knowing they are a major Black Sea product, and a main of skate wing. I won’t swear they weren’t previously frozen (which is often true most places anyway in early April), but they were delicious. I had to fight off my lunch companions to sop up the garlic butter.
It was a chilly off-season day, so warm seating was limited to the small first room with its TV. But it also meant we could park within a couple of blocks.
Afterwards, we explored the ruins of Saint Sophia, which are right at the restaurant’s doorstep. All in all, a very pleasant meal.More
The food was very good and the waitstaff very attentive and knowledgeable. I was pleased that credit/debit cards are accepted, which is not a given in Bulgaria! I would go again and take friends and family.
Myself and my boyfriend wanted to go to an authentic seafood restaurant in the old town of Nesebar where the food is fresh. Our dinner was delicious, service was amazing and the wine was great! It was also reasonably priced.
Would recommend 100%! Fantastic place with the greatest food & wine! We've been recommend shrimp, garlic bread, FRESH(!) sea bass and amazing bulgarian pinot gris to go with it and it was magic!!!!! ♥️♥️♥️ Thank you for this awsome food experience!
The restaurant is the best. The owner was very helpful and helped us find the best wine and food. The wild sea bass was the best I have ever eaten in my life. This restaurant is a choice you will never regret
Been going to the Black Sea Coast for over 20 years, this is by far the tastiest food we ve had. So good we spent our 6th year wedding anniversary here last summer. We went back at least 5 times during our 4 week visit...to the area. Definitely worth a try! Everything is fresh, good selection of alcohol and the owner leads his team by example. Enjoy it!!!More
We visted Old Sailor two days in a roll to further explore the menu. We highly recommend the roasted lamb, curry and pineapple chicken, and shripm with garlic. The greek salad was very good too. The owner of the restaurant is serving and talking to...customers which is super nice.More
