If you are in Sao Paulo and would like to have a great food experience in a relaxed and friendly environment - this is a great restaurant. The food, an innovative experience of Brazilian and modern tastes, is excellent. The service, ambiance and warmth is encapsulating. If you want a great culinary experience but want to feel as if you... More

My first visit to the “well known” Mani, at least listed as one of the best in Brazil. Ambiance is always essential in a fancy, upmarket and expensive restaurant, particularly in an important city like Sao Paulo. Forget about a place sort of “chic-shy”, rustic, and confy. The whole thing is just a wide corridor – a very wide garage... More

The food is good and the environment is nice, but I expected more once I have learned the chef is one of the best in the world. We had to wait about an hour to get a table. I was with a foreigner and local staff could not speak English properly to explain the menu and suggest dishes. It is... More

Its been a years that I go to Maní. To be really honest, the last two times I went, it wasn't that amazing... The couvert is always excellent. I ordered the manioc gnocchi in tucupi broth ( prettier than it tastes). For the main dish: octopus.. And it was a bit chewy... I would rather go to other restaurants. Service... More

One of the best kitchens in São Paulo. It's upscale without being fancy. The line usually is huge, so book in advance. Don't skip the couvert and grab a big chunk of "Polvilho". Everything on the menu is well crafted and delicious, it's a consistent trip across Brazilian cuisine. Local and tourists loves it.

Very good restaurant with a menu full of options. The staff is very well trained and the flavors of the dishes are amazing. The price is high but it is worth it. It is far away from being the best in town. I had the fillet mignon and it was alright. The appetizers were amazing!!

We have been going to Maní since it opened and on every single occasion, without fail, have we enjoyed an abolustely perfect meal, perfect service, delightful atmosphere. I don´t know if it´s the crisis in São Paulo, but this time, our group of 8 was seriously disappointed. Who are these waiters? Who was in the kitchen? The waiters, hearing us... More

Certainly one of the best meals I've ever done. From the appetizers, through main course and finalizing with an excellent dessert. The service always very attentive.

We have been at Maní on three different occasions. The first time we ordered a la carte and we found our meal to be quite good. The second time we selected their middle menu which we enjoyed. On our third visit we decided to go all the way and ordered their full menu with wine pairings. What a disappointment this... More

Staying in Jardins

Neighborhood Profile
Jardins
Located just below important Paulista Avenue, Jardins is the junction of four smaller neighborhoods: Jardim Paulista, Jardim América, Jardim Europa and Jardim Paulistano. It is an upper-class area, offering a variety of things to do, including shopping, museums and parks. The neighborhood is well known for “Oscar Freire”– the most luxurious street in the city, packed with high-end boutiques. In Jardins you will also find a trendy museum, São Paulo Museum of Image and Sound (MIS), which people often line up for hours to visit. If green space is what you're after, take time to relax at Trianon Park, a refuge in the heart of Paulista Avenue.
