My partner and I went and had some amazing steaks and I also really enjoyed the salad. The customer service could have been a little better as our inability to speak Portuguese seemed to annoy the staff a bit. Also we didn't get the bread that all the other tables seemed to be given. Do you need to pay for... More

This is kne of the most traditional restaurant from São Paulo and well known by the typical and simple Paulista food. Its a nice ask if you didnt have decided what to do for dinner time.

A bisteca é deliciosa, bom preço, porções fartas! The t bone steak is delicious, good price(U$ 15,00), big portions!! Try the t bone steak with portuguese fries, arroz, feijão, farofa especial. Don't forget to try the appetizer cabbage with onions and bread to start, it's delicious!!

It is a cassual restaurant with a fine steakes and salads. Started as a simple bar (cafe) and turned out into a popular steak house of São Paulo.

Competent. Nothing to write home about but perfectly adequate. I had the fried chicken pieces with mashed potatoes. The place is clean and the staff polite.

Be prepared to be at one of the most traditional restaurants in Sao Paulo, they do not accept card payments (debit nor credit) , then be ready for a cash payment. The pork chops are delicious, including the side dishes made of fried "mandioca", rice and black beans.

This is a not to miss restaurant in Sao Paulo. Gentle portions, great steak house with excellent range of meats and if you are vegetarians go for the side orders, typically Brazilian dishes, with the best quality and price cost effectiveness I ve ever experienced. I ve been there 3 times. Just remmember that it is cash only !!!!

Great after-hours dining - where else in Sao Paulo can you order and eat after midnight? Surprisingly, almost nowhere. But here at traditional diner Sujinho they`re open until 4:00 am. A diner for locals, for night-owls, for musicians after work, for late-night lovers. There`s a related hamburginho around the corner, but this is the real thing - Paulistano dinng. Generous... More

Staying in Consolacao

Neighborhood Profile
Consolacao
Consolação lies between the old historical center of the city and busy Paulista Avenue. It’s surrounded by the fancy Higienópolis neighborhood, which makes it a very diverse place. The nightlife along Augusta Street offers visitors a variety of options to dine, dance and be entertained. Roosevelt Square, Consolação's main meeting point, is surrounded by fringe theaters and has become a popular skateboarding area. Right across the street from the square is the elevated highway known as “Minhocão.” Though it is busy with car traffic all week, it shuts down every weekend and becomes a leisure spot right in the middle of the city.
