The food here was overpriced, the seafood stale and just not that tasty. Restaurants like Consulado Bahia that are close enough are much better. Also, I got sick after eating here.

Yesterday I had dinner at Manzua SP with my wife. I was looking for a really good sea food restaurant. Beer list is too short and include only ordinary beer. Service and food are good, but not amazing and a little bit overpriced in my opinion. The place decor and furniture is old fashioned. None of these "problems" would keep... More

Sea food and traditional food from the Northeast of Brazil. This restaurant still holds the originality and flavor of his creators. Indulge yourself with the experience. Moquecas and bobos are delicious.

This is a very traditional restaurant, wit traditional food from the Northeast of Brazil. Former, Bargaço Restaurant, it changed the name but kept the quality and flavor of the menu. Definitely a place to visit.

We always went to this place when it was called Bargaço and it was to die for. Awesome food and service. We went today and it was not good at all. The acarajé was nice. The casquinha de siri tasted like tomato sauce but was ok. The fish bites were dreadful, too thin, dry and you could not even taste... More

I was lucky to go to this restaurant with my Brazilian husband. As such he was able to guide us in how to order. We started with Acaraje with vatapa as an appetizer. Acaraje is a Bahia street food and the Acaraje looks breadlike but it is made as I understand with Yuca flour. As we ordered Acaraje with vatapa,... More

I was invited to this place in order to try the famous moqueca, and I was really impressed abou the dish. We ordered 2, one with fish and camarao and other one only with fish. Both were spectacular. The place was not crowded and the waiters were very close and friendly, very goog service. I do not give 5 points... More

I recommend Manzua for people who like dishes from Bahia, like bobó de camarão, vatapá and also for people who want to try them. The food is very good and the service is fair. If you do not have time to go to Bahia, Manzua is a nice option in São Paulo

This is a typical pot cuisine in Brazil,"Mukeka", which I love most personally. Soup taste condensed shrimp, squid and fish is excellent! I have it with rice like curry rice style. Anyway, this combination is fantastic and most sophisticated!

Staying in Jardins

Neighborhood Profile
Jardins
Located just below important Paulista Avenue, Jardins is the junction of four smaller neighborhoods: Jardim Paulista, Jardim América, Jardim Europa and Jardim Paulistano. It is an upper-class area, offering a variety of things to do, including shopping, museums and parks. The neighborhood is well known for “Oscar Freire”– the most luxurious street in the city, packed with high-end boutiques. In Jardins you will also find a trendy museum, São Paulo Museum of Image and Sound (MIS), which people often line up for hours to visit. If green space is what you're after, take time to relax at Trianon Park, a refuge in the heart of Paulista Avenue.
