Despite the name, the place serves a variety of stuff, such as desserts and other snacks. Not too expensive and it is all quite good.

We were walking on the street and saw this place. We didn't do any research before so we had no idea that this shop is famous for their cheese bread. Many locals were having their afternoon tea there. The shop is small and there are only two benches. We told ourselves that we should come again the next day. We... More

Ok, if you never tried a pão de queijo (cheese bread) you should start with this one. In my opinion the best in town and one of the best I had until today. They come hot from the oven every hour or so (really fresh). You can get a good expresso with it. Another must try here are the "coxinha... More

Here you will find the best pao de queijo in São Paulo. It is a small place, but it is worth a visit, specially if you are in that area.

This really, really small place does have the best pão de queijo in SP. They are baked every half hour or so, and get some crazy shapes that make them even tastier. Not to be missed!

Simply delicious. The only problem are the lines. It's a garage on the street, very simple but an amazing place to have a coffee in the morning or afternoon.

Very good service with only one speciality: pão de queijo. I am not a big fan of it, but this was the best I ever got. The place is really small and, because of the fame, can get really crowded.

Staying in Jardins

Neighborhood Profile
Located just below important Paulista Avenue, Jardins is the junction of four smaller neighborhoods: Jardim Paulista, Jardim América, Jardim Europa and Jardim Paulistano. It is an upper-class area, offering a variety of things to do, including shopping, museums and parks. The neighborhood is well known for “Oscar Freire”– the most luxurious street in the city, packed with high-end boutiques. In Jardins you will also find a trendy museum, São Paulo Museum of Image and Sound (MIS), which people often line up for hours to visit. If green space is what you're after, take time to relax at Trianon Park, a refuge in the heart of Paulista Avenue.
