Service was quite upsetting since, as soon as I've arrived and sat down with my friends, I was rudely pushed by a waiter, who was forcing me to move closer to the table in order to rearrange a table beside me. For the price they charge in this place, you'd expect them not to crowd tables on onto another and... More

A simple looking bistro with informal atmosphere but very good food, extremely good service, a varied wine list (try Malbec Canal Flores 2011), all at very affordable prices. Good for breakfast, lunch or dinner! And do not miss the patisserie, excellent!

food was good, but the service and the tidiness could be better. we went there using the "2 for 1" coupon, and it's unlikely to go there again without it.

Le Vin is one of my favorite places in Sao Paulo to the stand of french cusine. It is cozy and have an inviting atmosphere. The steak tartare is one of my favorites. The omelettes are french in style and technique. They have an outstanding selection of wine. The croque monsieur is absolutely fantastic in every sense of the word,... More

Dear AgathaERight, We're delighted to hear that we are one of your favorite places in São Paulo for French cuisine and that you recommend so many of our dishes, including our couvert - the bread is made at our Boulangerie and so is the pate, with chicken liver, spices and Port wine :-) Thank you very much for your review... Went for dinner with my wife (Aug. 12, 2016). We had the Amex birthday special, ("FREE")", plus a nice bottle of wine. We will go back, but not sure when. The prices of the al la carte dishes are on the high side. The wine list is good, with reasonably priced wines (considering your in a restaurant).

I really like the ambiance at this restaurant, I prefer outside seating areas and they that but I can't say much about their food. They give you bread which looks very cheap and tasteless before you get your meals and it cost R$10 per person. According to me the bread is of low quality and I don't think there should... More

Dear Tamar L, We're sorry to hear you didn't have a good experience at Le Vin. The bread offered to clients is part of the couvert and is served with butter and liver paté. It is made at our bakery across the street and our clients love it. The couvert is charged per person and served as many times as... More

Good food and good service for a decent prince taking into consideration prices in São Paulo for more sophisticated restaurants. The original Le Vin in Jardins neighborhood has a patisserie next door that serves breakfast and tea. On the restaurant they serve French food with some Brazilian options like picadinho with rice and beans. Pastry and deserts are also very... More

Staying in Jardins

Neighborhood Profile
Jardins
Located just below important Paulista Avenue, Jardins is the junction of four smaller neighborhoods: Jardim Paulista, Jardim América, Jardim Europa and Jardim Paulistano. It is an upper-class area, offering a variety of things to do, including shopping, museums and parks. The neighborhood is well known for “Oscar Freire”– the most luxurious street in the city, packed with high-end boutiques. In Jardins you will also find a trendy museum, São Paulo Museum of Image and Sound (MIS), which people often line up for hours to visit. If green space is what you're after, take time to relax at Trianon Park, a refuge in the heart of Paulista Avenue.
