fantastic snacks or meals

Nice typical "paulista" place to meet regional specialties. Try the rice balls (bolinho de arroz) with draft beer (black) and order any pasta. Don´t forget the "petit gateau" for dessert. They prepare it in 20 minutes, but is worth!!!!!

I had been to Genesio before but it is always crowded and I we always sit outside. I never liked the servide and it was a place I never cared to review or recommend. Been there many times. Perfect place to have a great informal lunch in an authentic non touristic place. Beer and caipirinhas are as good as you can get. Him my traditional igalian-flavored dishes. Great service and great vibe. Not to be missed

For a late, late dinner. Have a good menu for finger food. The waiters are knowed by the name and the place is a total mix of youth, vintage and everyone else.

Traditional Villa Magdalena place, alive and vibrant this is one of the survivors from the continuous churning mill of this section of the city. The place is simple, fast, for some people it might mean crowdy and noisy, but that is precisely part of the charming attractive (at peak times It is indeed noisy and it is hard to be... More

Staying in Pinheiros

Neighborhood Profile
Exploring Pinheiros, a neighborhood known for cozy restaurants and cafes, you will notice a youthful energy. Several cultural centers and institutes surround the area and even its main church, Calvário, hosts a traditional Brazilian “Festa Junina” - a celebration with traditional music, dance, and food during the months of June and July. On the weekends, residents gather at Benedito Calixto Square, a loud and crowded area where people enjoy live music drinks alongside the antiquities fair.
