Whenever I have the oportunity to travel to Sao Paulo I can not miss this restaurant. It is a very good option for Spanish food. It is a bit expensive so you have to know how to order the food. If the group of people is more than three I recommend the "paella". It is very good but for two... More

Celebrating my birthday at Don Curro Restaurant was a true gift. Having lived in Spain for a while, Don Curro made possible for us to revive what authentic "tapas" are about (from "boquerones" to "jamon patas negras") as well as an authentic Paella. A must visit for those who deeply appreciate Spanish food.

We've been there for lunch on Saturday and we've ordered a paella. The food was good, but prices are too high. The paella is well served, so you can order it for three people to share. We asked sangria to drink and it was really good, very tasty. You will spend at least R$ 180 per person. The restaurant is... More

Well, it's the 3rd time we've been there and I think that the major lesson was to avoid it in holidays. The paella is nice of course, but it was served cold and unfortunately we asked for the lobster dish and I did not see any lobster in that. The service (that usually is medium) was awful and I felt... More

This is an upscale restaurant that serves traditional Spanish cuisine. Its specialty is paella and seafood. The food is high quality and well prepared. The appetizer and desserts we had were heavenly. Pineapple with lime zest tasted wonderful. The meal ended with a drink that was a combination of ice cream and liquor.

Don Curro has a nice atmosphere with an average food that should cost half of what they charge. I went with my wife and we shared a Paella, it costed 450 reais together with two beers.

Beautiful dining room. My friend who lives in Sao Paulo recommended the restaurant. We were both disappointed as we were expecting much, much more especially given the prices. I believe Don Curro's best days of making outstanding Paella is in the past unless a significant change occurs in the kitchen. Hope so as, again, the space is excellent.

Neighborhood Profile
Exploring Pinheiros, a neighborhood known for cozy restaurants and cafes, you will notice a youthful energy. Several cultural centers and institutes surround the area and even its main church, Calvário, hosts a traditional Brazilian “Festa Junina” - a celebration with traditional music, dance, and food during the months of June and July. On the weekends, residents gather at Benedito Calixto Square, a loud and crowded area where people enjoy live music drinks alongside the antiquities fair.
