Waiters not attentive to the customers, raw pizza, items of the menu were just unavailable, a lot, really lot of waiting time until they serve the orders. We had the impression that it was not that famous Gato Gordo from the 90's.

I had been to this restaurant several times before and had never had such a horrible experience. Since it's high season, there was a long wait for the table (normal and expected). We tried to order something while waiting and were informed that we had to go inside, prepay and take to the waiting area ourselves. Ok, not the most... More

If you want to get away from Campos overcrowded downtown and enjoy a healthy meal in the middle of the woods, Gato Gordo is the best pick. The new location is just a few steps away from the address that made this restaurant a classic. To be honest, it's not as charming as the original one, but the food remains... More

I have tried their new location in Capivari and if they lost their riverside location now they got a nice outdoor space perfect for people watching and to eat great food. During the afternoon and night they even had live music that was very entertaining.

I liked this place because it was a few blocks beyond the complete craziness around Baden Baden. They've got a nice big patio. Live music outside in the afternoons and inside in the evenings, at least on Saturday. Food wasn't anything special, but decent beer selection makes it a nice place to sit outside in an area with WAY too... More

Less than restaurant. its more like a summer camp camp. A good choice to high school dudes. Pizza is the only one safe plate.

Good option, now in a new location in Capivari Village. You can choose a big potato or a light eggplant like a pizza. I recommend.

Although the adress has changed (and I think they've lost some of their "charm"), the new restaurant is pleasing and the location is very good (at the Capivari area). The menu hasn't changed which is awsome, specially when you go for the "picanha"s barbecue and for the big baked potato. Rustic, but that wasn't it what we loved about the... More

This restaurant/bar is now located in the middle of Capivari neighborhood. Although the last site was more difficult to be achieved, I think it was much more interesting and bucolic. We ordered baked potatoe which was just average. The meat we ordered was good, but it was too few (and expensive).
