Barranco exist many decades. Good quality food at reasonable prices. There are special meats. The pork tenderloin with cheese has been better. Ask a meat and go in the basket of salads which you can repeat at will by a single price . Try the crispy thin polenta ; with or without cheese ...

Barranco exists since I remember Porto Alegre. It has a nice Beer Garten and good meat. It is one of these places that survives for years, what implies they must add value or they would not be there anymore.

This is certainly one of the best options in the city. You will find a typical barbecue (churrasco). Pork and fillet steak are excellent ideas.

Had a great picanha on the terrace, good and quick service and the meat was excellent (great salads too). Price ok, and the sallon looked very good as well. Recommend

This is a true classic. Over 40 years and going strong. Excellent meat in a variety of cuts, always perfectly made to the customer's taste and served a la carte. A salad trolley circles continuously with a big selection of vegetables and greens, brought in fresh every morning. A veteran team of waiters knows the customers and makes sure everybody... More

The authentic barbecue spot in town. Here you can have the chance to taste the real Rio Grande barbecue. Ribs, picanha, chicken hearts and mayo salad. The gauchos develop an unique way to grill their meet. They put the meet on sticks and straight to the burning coal. Gross salt and that's it. The options are rare, medium rare, done... More

It's a traditional restaurant, that stays open until late. The meat is ok, but nothing special. Overpriced, for sure. Unless it's past midnight, there's no reason to go there.
