5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 19, 2013

Visited on a business trip and happened upon this gem. Very pretty and cozy with an amazing wine room and even more amazing seafood. There were four of us; the waiter told us one entree would serve two. But really I think one entree would have been plenty for all of us. Waiter suggested a great wine with the fish... More

Pampulinha is an old and traditional seafood Restaurant in town. They move a few year ago to a modernd and sofisticated place a few steps from the old place. The dishes are enought for 4 people and also the price.

Best restaurant for seafood, maybe the best in all categories in Porto Alegre, and a wine room that is worth a visit.

2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 16, 2012 via mobile

I came here for lunch with a guest from abroad. I asked for a half portion (for one person) squid and they brought us a plate that serves 3 people. After talking to the manager he told us that they do not serve smaller portions... And that's it. No apologies, nothing.

An old fashioned fish restaurand, running for more than 30 years? High quality and nice service make us return again and again. The entries serve 2 to 4 people! Even the main courses! Seems to be expensive, but since you have always a big doggie bag to delight yourself later at home, worth to pay!
