Al Nur is a nice place for a dinner with friends or a date! It's not a romantic place! Prices are fair! Coffee is wonderful!

We ordered several items on the menu, after reading tons of great reviews. A huge disappointment not only in service, price and quality, but worst of all in taste. I'm guessing this restaurant is more of a status for some. We definitely don't recommend Al Nur, nor will we be going back.

I'm not familiar with Arabian food but I like this place very much. Garlic all over the place, crude meat, fresh curd, and other delicacies. They offer an Arabian coffee and if you pay some extra (DONT) the fortune teller will read the coffee powder for you. Hint: she knows nothing, it takes forever, she's rude and only wants you... If you like high standard arab food just go to al-nur. They have a all you can eat menu with all the best middle-orient receipies for a very reasonable price. They also offer a lot of beer options (handcrafted and even lebanese ones) and turkish coffee. Enjoy!

This a traditional middle eastern restaurant in porto Alegre but on the last couple of years they lost their family owned style and are looking more a big chain with frozen food then a cozy restaurant . The service it's bad and it has always been , so expect to make and extra effort to get good service. The food... More

Very nice and cozy restaurant. The food is quite good, although misses a bit of personality. Good wine list. Don`t miss the chanclich and mjadra.

We were there with a guy from Palestine and it was a really good chance to learn a lot from his cuisine. You can pay a moderate price (around RS$50) to have a kind of "each as much as you can" and you will be able to try the most of the classical arabic food, like kafta, breads, falafel, sfiha,... The food is fresh and there are many options from the Lebanese cuisine. On lunch time, it is always pleasant, not too busy and fast. There is a rodada (eat as much as you can) or a set menu for a good value (you coose 3 our tof 9 options), but I use to choose meals from the menu. My... More
