Dodo made the perfect recommendation for which wine to pair with the meats and the meat and fondue was fantastic! We had picanha, pork, chicken, and filet minion which were all of top quality. We definitely recommend to stop by when in Gramado.
Choose a place to eat fondue in Gramado is a difficult task, as there are dozens of options with prices ranging from 30 to 200 reais. We chose this place because it was relatively close to our hotel and the price was not very cheap...nor very expensive (as the cheapest options tend to be awful) - for 75 reais (in September 2019) you get cheese, meat and chocolate fondues.
The cheese fondue was a little bland (the cheese wasn't tasty). The meat one was ok. The chocolate one was better, with fresh fruits to dip into the chocolate. All in all, it was an ok experience, but I was expecting more.More
My experience was very good. Nice cheese fondue accompanied with polenta, potatoes, bread and guava paste. Followed with a big selection of meats on a hot stone and dipping sauces. Last but no least, an milk and white chocolate fondue with different kind of fruits....Friendly staff, nice environment and definitely a great fondue option.More
When Charles Chaplin approached us on the street and invite us for dinner, we thought "What the heck, didn't even know the man could talk!" And decided to indulge in a 'sequence of fondue', an all-you-can-eat fondue meal, starting with potatoes and polenta dipped in...melted cheese, followed by all types of meat for you to grill yourself on a hot stone, with what must have been the biggest selection of sauces and chutneys someone has ever brought to my table, about 12 little pots with everything from strawberry jam to fine herbs dip, to go with the selection of fillet, chicken, pork loins and sausage. We actually asked to have both our starter melted cheese pot and our hot stone meat main meal at the same time. To finish it off, they served a hot pot of melted chocolate with several little pots of fresh fruits to dip on the chocolate. During your meal, you can ask for more of whatever you fancy, whether it is potatoes, meat, fruits, and it is all included n your 35 Reais per person. Amazing value, friendly service, tasty food. All perfect! We. Mae before 8 pm and got no queues but when we were leaving there was already a massive wait so I recommend you go early.More
