Food was decent and in my partners case over generous as she ate about a quarter of it. Handy as open 24 hours and very convenient if staying in hotel Orla.

The food here was nice. And the portions were enormous! The Cuban chicken was very nice and so was the steak. The caipirinha was super strong, so beware.

We arrived at our Copacabana hotel around 11pm feeling very hungry, so we were lucky to find somewhere to eat so late! We ordered pizza which was fairly big and tasted great. The food was quick to arrive and although the waiter did not speak English he was very attentive and tried his best with our Portuguese. We didn't stay... More

We visited this restaurant on our last night in Rio de Janeiro. We love steaks so we expected medium rare steak cut on slices as it was written in english menu...When the waiter brought the meal, it was a disaster! Filet mignon on small pieces, well done, with the potatoes and cheese, just a terrible experience...For 130 R I expected... More

Went to the Eclipse for dinner one evening having had it recommended by a friend, good food with sizeable portions, English menu, good service, popular with locals and tourists alike. Would pass on the recommendation.

Good lemonade, batata rosty and omelette, but the service was very poor! Compared to other places in Rio, the batata rosty was cheap and 1 portion is enough for 2 people!

We visited for lunch and ordered two salads with drinks. The salad portion was huge but poor quality. The lettuce was brown & mouldy in places. The chicken was dry. Service was amicable but our bill was inaccurate. They charged us for a 2 person salad each rather than the 1 person salad we ordered. The corrected bill was 102R$.... More

I could say we are feijoada and it was good (not wonderful), but good. Place is nice but maybe could have more light inside. We were a table with 8 people and we had to wait almost one hour to have our food.

Had lamb ribs for two with mushroom risotto and it was delicious. Portion was a little small for two and together with three beers we ended up with about 50USD including 10% tip. Place seemed popular and service was good except a little slow with change.

Thank KarlXII

Staying in Copacabana

Neighborhood Profile
The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.
